Research On The Art Of Roots-extending And Techniques Of Roots-lifting Of The Bonsai With Roots Lifted

The Bonsai with roots lifted is a kind of tree Bonsai takes roots as the main ornamental object of a special type.The Bonsai with roots lifted is a vivid depiction of natural trees growing in wild ancient road,cliffs and ravines,wind gap and ruins,and other environmentally dangerous areas.Compared with the Bonsai with roots not-lifted,it has ornamental effect with more shocking and natural charm.The Bonsai with roots lifted is a vivid artistic work that originates from nature and is higher than nature.In view of the fact that the theoretical research on the Bonsai with roots lifted is relatively backward at present,in order to further enrich and improve the modeling form of tree Bonsai,strengthen and deepen the research on the creation of the Bonsai with roots lifted,this paper conducts in-depth research and practical exploration on the roots-extending art and techniques of roots-lifting of the Bonsai with roots lifted,and obtains the following research results:(1)The related concepts of the Bonsai with roots lifted are clarified,and the difference and correlation between roots-lifting and roots-exposing are analyzed.The Bonsai with roots lifted refers to a tree Bonsai with the most primary roots(accounting for two-thirds or more of the roots length)exposed from the basin surface hanging off the ground and the amount of roots lifting is not less than 10 cm,which has this roots-extending state and takes the roots as an important ornamental part.Exposed roots refer to the state that the roots in the roots disk of the pot tree are close to the pot soil,although there are a few ups and downs,but more than two-thirds of the roots length is not suspended,or the roots lifting amount is less than 10 cm.Exposing roots and lifting roots can improve the ornamental value of Bonsai,but exposing roots is the basic requirement of excellent Bonsai with roots not-lifted,and lifting roots is the further development and extension of exposing roots,and the creation is more elaborate,complex and distinctive,which is the key link in the artistic creation of roots-extending of the Bonsai with roots lifted.(2)The classification of forms of roots-lifting of the Bonsai with roots lifted is improved.Nineteen forms of roots-lifting are summarized from four aspects: the number of roots lifting,the shape of roots lifting,the amount of roots lifting and the attachment mode of roots lifting.There are three forms according to the number of roots lifting: single root,double roots and multi-roots.According to the shape of lifting roots,it can be divided into nine forms: vertical,curved,inclined,horizontal,pensile,coiling,winding,trumpet-shaped and multi-point roots group.According to the amount of roots lifting,it can be divided into three forms: small amplitude roots-lifting,medium amplitude roots-lifting and large amplitude roots-lifting.According to the attachment mode of lifting roots,it can be divided into four forms: stone wrapped by roots,roots through from stone,roots inset on stone and wood climbed by roots,forming a more comprehensive and systematic classification.(3)Based on the correlation and fusion analysis between the art of roots-extending of the Bonsai with roots lifted and other cultures and art forms(roots carving art,literature art,Zen culture,calligraphy art and painting art),this study puts forward the concrete expressions of spatial elements(point,line,surface and body)and aesthetic images(shape,potential,quality and rhyme)in the roots-extending art,which enriches the aesthetic connotation of the roots-extending art of the Bonsai with roots lifted.(4)In this study,AHP fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was introduced to evaluate the aesthetic quality of roots-extending art of the Bonsai with roots lifted,and the following evaluation results were obtained:(1)The thickness of roots-lifting,the coordination between roots,the number of roots-lifting grades,the number of roots-lifting and the unity of form are very important for the creation of the Bonsai with roots lifted.(2)The Bonsai with roots lifted has the best exposure effect with multiple roots.Forms of trumpet-shaped,multi-point roots group,winding and inclined have advantages in the shape of lifting roots.The form of medium amplitude roots-lifting is the most suitable.The form of stone wrapped by roots in the attachment mode of lifting roots is the most ornamental.(3)The quality grade of extending roots is rated as general roots-lifting forms including horizontal,coiling,large amplitude roots-lifting,wood climbed by roots and single root with poor evaluation,which is not recognized by Bonsai circles due to special and rare forms and poor ornamental experience.(5)Based on the practice,this paper concludes that the method of enclosure and basin-in-basin is suitable for popularization.At the same time,it is considered that taking materials,gathering roots,storing roots,lifting roots,shaping roots and roots fixation after planting are six key links in roots creation of the Bonsai with roots lifted.In addition,if necessary,branch grafting thickening method,approach grafting roots-patching method,increasing roots after girdling method and increasing roots after splitting method can be selectively adopted to speed up roots forming in accordance with specific conditions.
