| The effects of different commercial lactic acid bacteria on the quality,rumen degradation rate and aerobic stability of whole corn silage were studied in order to screen the best lactic acid bacteria additive suitable for whole corn silage fermentation.The whole corn harvested at waxy ripening stage was used as material to prepare silage with and without commercial lactic acid bacteria additive(control group).The silage samples were opened after 2,6 and 9 months of fermentation,and the fermentation quality,nutrient composition,rumen degradation rate and aerobic stability were determined.The results show that:(1)After 2 months of fermentation,the p H value of silage in both control group and treatment groups decreased to below 3.59,but the lactic acid content of Qingzhubang,Sila-Mix,Sila-max,Qingzhubao,Dupont Pioneer was significantly higher than that in control group(P<0.05).The dry matter content of silage supplemented with Qingzhubang,Sila-Mix and Dupont Pioneer was significantly higher than that of control group(P<0.05).The content of neutral detergent fiber and acid detergent fiber in each treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the RFV value of each treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),among which the most obvious increase was Qingzhubang,which reached 117.65%,and the RFV value of each treatment ranked as follows:Qingzhubang > Dupont Pioneer > Sila-Mix > Qingzhubao > Sila-Max.(2)With the prolongation of fermentation time,The digestibility of dry matter and neutral detergent fiber in vitro of Qingzhubang,Sila-mix,Sila-Max,Qingzhubao and Dupont Pioneer at 48 h were significantly higher than those at 24 h.In vitro dry matter digestibility of Qingzhubang,Qingzhubang and Sila-Mix was significantly higher than that of the control group at 24 and 48 h after 2 months storage.In vitro dry matter digestibility of Sila-Max and Dupont Pioneer at 24 and 48 h after 9 months storage was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in neutral detergent fiber digestibility at 48 h between sila-Max and Dupont Pioneer at 9 months storage(P>0.05).The total digestible nutrient,net energy of lactation,net energy of maintenance and net energy of weight gain in all treatment groups after 9 months storage were significantly higher than those in control group,and the silage states reached the maximum value(P<0.05).(3)The aerobic stabilization time of five commercial lactobacillus Qingzhubang,Sila-Mix,Sila-Max,Qingzhubao and Dupont Pioneer groups were 100,94,94,88 and 92 h,respectively,which were significantly longer than that of the control group(82 h)(P<0.05).With the prolongation of aerobic stability time,the p H values of Qingzhubang,Sila-Mix,Sila-Max,Qingzhubao and Dupont Pioneer all showed a rising trend in different degrees,and the lactic acid and acetic acid contents of each treatment showed a decreasing trend in different degrees.No small amount of butyric acid was detected in all treatment groups.These results indicated that commercial bacterial agents could improve the silage quality of whole corn,improved rumen degradation rate,predicted energy and aerobic stability,and the comprehensive evaluation result of Qingzhubang was the best. |
