| As one of the four ancient irrigation areas in China,the Ningxia Yellow River Irrigation area has a history of more than 2,000 years of irrigation and canal water excavation,with rich and important irrigation engineering heritage resources retained in the irrigation area.In October 2017,the irrigation project heritage of Ningxia Yellow River Ancient Irrigation Area was included in the "World Irrigation Heritage List",becoming the first world irrigation project heritage of the Yellow River basin listed in the "World Irrigation Heritage List" in China,and also the first "World Heritage" type in Ningxia.Research combed the important achievements of anthropological heritage research and Ningxia the ancient irrigation area irrigation engineering heritage research related results,select the ancient irrigation area core village canal village for field investigation,this paper introduces the general situation of the ancient irrigation area and canal village in different historical period,select irrigation,canal,and canal related life livelihood presents three perspectives in different periods of the villagers of canal dam and brake.By digging and explain the local heritage of irrigation engineering facilities,cultural landscape,and canal related to the dragon king belief practice,oral tradition and cultural activities,show and reflect the important position in the village cultural life and heritage and the heritage of the villagers inner spirit,describes the canal village as Ningxia ancient irrigation project core heritage experience and is experiencing the heritage process,discussed in the "world irrigation engineering heritage" list after important heritage reproduction movement--rural landscape construction and tourism development.The research aims to write the ethnography of how a person and a heritage are mutually constructed,and tries to show the close connection between people and heritage in historical memory,agricultural production,social life and spiritual world in the diachronic perspective through the underlying narrative and daily activity observation of the villagers in the heritage villages.Finally,based on the presentation of ethnographic data,it clarifies the importance of focusing on the underlying narrative in the background of global heritage movement,explains the changes of time,space and society in the process of heritage reproduction,and proposes that the concept of "spare effort" should be used to guide the current heritage protection. |
