One of the top 10 most famous flowers in China is a variety called"chrysanthemum",which is also one of the most popular flowers in the world.Compositae flowers are popular among traditional flowers because of their auspiciousness,longevity and high ornamental value.Chrysanthemum is a perennial herb of Chrysanthemum genus in the Asteraceae family.It is very rich in flower type,flower color,plant type and so on.It plays an important role in flower production.There are many kinds of chrysanthemum in our country,various forms,strong adaptability,wide distribution range and complex genetic background.Chrysanthemum color variety,its color is white,yellow,pink,orange,green,red,purple and so on.In addition to the blue line,seven color lines have been cultivated,as well as many exotic flower varieties,such as two-color flowers,intercolor flowers,multi-color flowers and so on.Chrysanthemum osmanthus type is a very rich flower types of chrysanthemum,its tongue flower has flat petals,spoon petals and tube petals and other types,the middle of the disc flower developed protrusion,its round tubular petals,like laurel petals,and the tongue flower flowers as colorful.The shape and color of chrysanthemum osmanthus are special,with high ornamental value and economic value.In this study,according to the principle of double-false test crossing,a hybrid F1 generation population was established with the Tuogui type QX-053(female)and non-Tuogui type(male)as the parents.The flower type,color and heterosis of each population in the hybrid offspring were statistically analyzed.It can be seen from the experimental results that,The ratio of non-tuogui type to Tuogui type was 66:94,close to 2:3,in the offspring of the cross between the male parent(Nannong Jingyan)and the female parent(QX-053),and the phenomenon of middle parents was found in the flowering period,diameter and heart flower diameter of F1 population.In terms of the color of the chrysanthemums in the hybrids,there are red,gray-red,purple,orange and white in the middle with purple edges.Therefore,It can be concluded that most of the cultivated chrysanthemums in nature are highly heterozygote,and the offspring produced by their hybridization are not only controlled by multiple genes,but also greatly influenced by environmental factors.The inheritance of the chrysanthemum is a quantitative character controlled by multiple genes.Different color parental combination,the hybrid offspring character separation is obvious,color is more rich,the genetic basis has been widened,there is a general heterosis.According to the appearance characteristics,cultivation methods and growth patterns of these chrysanthemums,a lot of new strains can be divided,and chrysanthemum strains with high ornamental value can be selected from the hybrid offspring.Usually,these strains combine the characteristics of bright color of the male parent and developed protrusion of disc-shaped flowers in the middle of the female parent,and have high ornamental value.In order to improve the ornamental value and economic benefits of chrysanthemum breeding,the breeding,cultivation management disease and pest control and the harvesting and processing of chrysanthemum were discussed.so as to provide support for the industrial development and application of the new strains in the future.
