| Potato is one of the important food crops in China,its planting area and yield are in the forefront of the world.But the rate of potato damage during transportation is very high,and damaged potatoes can accelerate the rate of decay.Vibration during transportation is one of the important causes of potato damage.To solve this problem,V7 potato planted in Wuchuan County,Hohhot city,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was selected as the research object to study the impact of potato vibration on potato quality during transportation,and the quality change rate was used to characterize the damage degree of potato quality.The specific research contents and results are as follows:(1)Vibration testThe simulated transportation shaking table was used for the test,and the single factor vibration test,double factor test and orthogonal test were carried out on the potatoes of the same size and maturity without any damage with different vibration frequency,different vibration time and different stacking height.At the same time,a certain number of potatoes without vibration treatment were set as the control group.Potato with different damage quality was obtained by simulated transport vibration test.(2)Compression testThe quality parameters such as hardness,elasticity and chewiness of potatoes in the control group and the potatoes after vibration treatment by simulated transport shaking table were measured by physical property analyzer.The hardness value of potatoes in the control group was about 185,the elasticity value was about 2.45 and the chewiness value was about 135.It was found that compared with the control group,the hardness,elasticity and chewiness of potatoes treated with different vibration frequency,vibration time and stacking height were all decreased to a certain extent.It was concluded that vibration treatment could accelerate the quality change of potatoes.Through orthogonal test analysis,it is concluded that the vibration frequency has the greatest influence on potato quality,and when the vibration frequency is 4Hz,the vibration time is 30 min,and the pile height is40 cm,the change rate of potato hardness is 9.107%.(3)Discrete element simulation testThe discrete element simulation software EDEM was used to simulate and analyze the vibration process of potato,and the influence of vibration amplitude on the pressure,absorbed energy and motion speed of potato was studied.The simulation results show that with the increase of vibration amplitude,the potato pressure,energy absorption and movement speed will increase.It is concluded that the damage degree of potato will increase with the increase of vibration amplitude.The simulation results can provide reference for the design optimization of transport-related machinery and equipment and the design of potato transportation package.This study can predict the quality change of potato during transportation and provide theoretical basis for alleviating vibration damage of potato during transportation. |
