Abstract/Summary:
The potato planting area is rising year by year in China.In order to pursue yield and economic benefits,unreasonable nitrogen fertilizer was used in potato production,resulting in potato tuber quality decline,low nitrogen fertilizer utilization efficiency,serious soil degradation and environmental pollution and so on,affecting the sustainable development of China’s potato industry seriously.Reasonable application of novel fertilizer can solve the above problems to an extent,which is of great significance in increasing potato production,reducing labor and environmental pollution.In this study,a field experiment was conducted in Wuchuan County,Inner Mongolia,the effects of controlled-release nitrogen fertilizer and stable nitrogen fertilizer on potato growth and development as well as nitrogen uptake were investigated using cultivar“V7”as experimental material,and their effects on ammonium nitrogen and nitrate nitrogen in potato rhizosphere soil were studied,which provided a theoretical basis for rational fertilization,nitrogen fertilizer utilization efficiency improvement and industrial health development in potato production.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The yield of potato under the stable nitrogen fertilizer(SNF)treatment were significantly higher than that of common urea(Urea)and controlled-released nitrogen fertilizer(CRF)treatment,which increased by 15.24%and 12.04%respectively;The potato yield of nitrogen reduction treatment also decreased accordingly.Stable nitrogen fertilizer can significantly promote the accumulation of dry matter of potato organs,the nitrogen content and nitrogen accumulation of organs in the later stage of growth period.And it can significantly accelerate the nitrogen absorption rate of potato.(2)Compared with the Urea,SNF can not only significantly increase the content of NO3--N at the 0-20 cm soil layer,but also reduce the content at 20-40 cm and 40-60 cm soil layers,which decreased by 10.00%,10.00%and 22.56%respectively.The application of SNF can significantly reduce the NH4+-N content in the soil,which decreased by 0.516mg/kg,0.127 mg/kg and 0.187 mg/kg respectively.(3)The application of SNF and CRF can significantly improve the activity of nitrate reductase and nitrite reductase in the middle developmental stage of potato.Compared with the Urea,the activity of nitrate reductase increased by 23.55%and 12.71%respectively;the activity of nitrite reductase increased by 34.01%and 25.23%respectively.(4)Under the condition by reducing 20%of nitrogen fertilizer in SNF and CRF,the dry matter accumulation,nitrogen content,rhizosphere soil profile nitrate,ammonium nitrogen and the activity of nitrate/nitrite reductase in potato are basically the same as the Urea treatment,but the yield decreased.
