Study On Selection Of New Waxy Corn Varieties And Its Cultivation Techniques

Abstract/Summary:
Waxy corn has high nutritional and economic added value.With the increase of people’s demand for waxy corn,the planting area of waxy corn is increasing,the applied varieties are also increasing,each variety needs to have the matching agronomy measure to realize the increase of yield and income.Therefore,the cultivation technology of Ji Nuo 14was studied in this experiment.By comparing the field,agronomic and quality characters of 16 waxy maize varieties,8new waxy maize varieties with high yield,good quality and high resistance were selected.The following year,Ji Nuo 14,which was bred by Jilin Agricultural University,was used as the experimental material,and the effects of suitable planting density and top application of nitrogen fertilizer,seed size and sowing date on the main characters of waxy maize were discussed,and came to the following conclusions:(1)Through the comparison of 16 waxy corn varieties,eight varieties of“Lv Nuo 619”,“Ji Ke Nuo 18”,“Chun Nuo 10”,“Lv Nuo 628”,“Ji Nuo 14”,“Nian Wa Wa”,“Shuang Yue Nuo 2”and“Ji Nong Nuo 15”with significantly higher fresh ear yield than the control varieties were selected,the agronomic characters of the varieties were good,and the quality was good and the resistance was high,which was suitable for popularization and planting in Jilin Province.(2)The results of planting density and topdressing nitrogen fertilizer showed that:the suitable planting density of Ji Nuo 14 in this area is 50000 plants/hm2,and the suitable amount of topdressing nitrogen fertilizer is 200 kg/hm~2.(3)The results of seed size test showed that:the different seed size of Ji Nuo 14 had no obvious effect on the growth period and yield.(4)The results of sowing date test showed that:2021 May 9 is the best time to plant Ji Nuo 14 corn.(5)Plant Height,leaf number,total dry matter weight and 100-grain weight per ear showed a“S”curveThe results of growth dynamic test showed that:the plant height,leaf number,total dry matter weight and 100-grain weight per ear showed a“S”curve,the bleeding sap of root showed a“N”curve,and the grain filling rate of panicle showed a parabola The water content of grain decreased with the increase of pollination days,and the change of crude starch content tended to smooth after 34 days of pollination.
