The selection of cutting parameters directly affects the effect of land preparation and gravel during the land preparation operation of land preparation powder ridge machine.Therefore,it is of great significance to study the influence of the cutting parameters of the land preparation powder ridge machine on the gravel land preparation effect,So as to improve the gravel land preparation efficiency of the land preparation powder ridge machine and reduce the reclamation cost.Based on the mechanism of pick cutting gravel and combined with discrete element method,this paper analyzes the influence of pick installation angle,powder ridge drum speed,pick type and adjacent pick spacing on the effect of pick gravel;Under the condition of obtaining the best cutting parameters and the best pick spacing,the stress of the pick and the pick seat assembly is analyzed by using the unidirectional coupling between EDEM and ANSYS.The main research work and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)Using the discrete element software EDEM,the uniaxial compression numerical simulation tests of green sandstone,yellow sandstone and brick in reclaimed soil are established.The force displacement curves of uniaxial compression tests of different stones are recorded in the discrete element software EDEM,and compared with the force displacement curves obtained from indoor uniaxial compression tests.By modifying the mesoscopic parameters of particles in the discrete element model,the parameters of green sandstone,yellow sandstone and brick in reclaimed soil are calibrated,So as to pave the way for the follow-up study of the process of pick cutting gravel.(2)Through the fracture of the bond between particles in the stone discrete element model,the gravel effect of the pick under different cutting parameters is analyzed.Using the control variable method and response surface analysis method,taking the resultant force received by the pick in the cutting process,the breaking number of the bonding key and the ratio of the breaking number of the bonding key to the resultant force received by the pick(crushing efficiency)as the test indexes,the effects of the rotating speed of the powder ridge drum,the type of the pick and the installation angle of the pick on the crushing effect of the discrete element model of reclaimed earth rock block are studied;Secondly,the influence of adjacent pick spacing on the crushing effect of reclaimed earth rock block discrete element model is analyzed.The results show that when the rotating speed of powder ridge drum is 280 rpm,the number of pick grooves is 6,the installation angle of pick is 50 ° and the ratio of adjacent pick spacing to pick cutting thickness is 4.62 ~ 5.38,the gravel effect of pick is the best.(3)Using the unidirectional coupling between EDEM and ANSYSY workbench,the stress of pick and pick seat assembly is analyzed under the condition of obtaining the best cutting parameters and the best pick spacing.The analysis shows that the maximum stress of the pick is mainly distributed around the tooth tip,while the maximum stress of the pick seat is mainly distributed in the arc transition area of the pick seat and the tail of the pick seat,and the maximum stress of the pick and pick seat assembly is 210.21 MPa,which is less than the ultimate yield strength of 42 Cr Mo 930 MPa,meeting the safety requirements.
