At present,the shift of baler in China is still based on manual operation scheme,and there is less research on automatic shift.Manual transmission shifts frequently,which is not only easy to cause driving fatigue,but also the inevitable shift impact will shorten the service life of the transmission and clutch of the baler.Adopting the automatic shift control strategy can improve the dynamic performance of the baler on the basis of maintaining its stability.Therefore,taking the baler as the research object,the neural network automatic shift control strategy is introduced.At the same time,using the modular idea,the simulation models of engine and other sub modules are established and encapsulated one by one,and then the simulation model of baler power transmission system is constructed to verify the effect of neural network shift control.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)Parameter design of automatic transmission of baler.Firstly,based on the structural layout scheme of the baler,the main parameters and performance evaluation indexes of the baler are established based on relevant standards and farmland working conditions.On this basis,the peak power and transmission ratio range of the baler are matched and designed.Then,from the perspective of kinematics,by analyzing the power transmission path of each gear of the baler,the corresponding transmission ratio of each gear is determined.Finally,the automatic transmission is modeled by UG.(2)Shift control of baler based on BP neural network.A neural network shift control strategy suitable for baler is proposed,and a neural network controller is built.For the eight gear transmission matched with the baler,the neural network architecture is designed,the output data is one hot coded,the throttle opening and vehicle speed are taken as the input,and the optimal gear is output and the corresponding executive clutch is controlled to combine smoothly after the neural network modifies the weight for many times.The analysis of training error curve and fitting regression coefficient of neural network shows that the established neural network controller basically meets the accuracy requirements of intelligent shift of baler.(3)Modeling of baler power transmission system based on MATLAB / Simulink.The BP neural network shift control module is embedded into Simulink system to establish the automatic shift neural network control model of baler;Based on the bench test data of diesel engine,the torque characteristic curve,torque coefficient and original characteristic curve of hydraulic torque converter of baler engine are established,and the engine model is built;Based on the analysis of Baling dynamics,the driving resistance model is established;Based on the study of the transmission control system,the transmission model and hydraulic torque converter sub model are established.The simulation analysis of the whole baler under farmland operation conditions shows that the neural network shift control strategy has a significant effect on the selection of shift points,and improves the power and stability of the baler.
