Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.is a woody medicinal tree species of the genus Schisandra(Schisandra Michx)in the family Schisandraceae. In this study, the morphological changes of leaves and fruits were analyzed by morphological observation and paraffin filming in Beiou Village,Luanchuan County,Henan Province,China;the changes of lignans compounds in leaves and fruits at different developmental stages were analyzed by HPLC,thus laying the foundation for understanding the correlation between lignin accumulation and morphological development of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils. The main conclusions are as follows.(1)The morphological development law of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.leaves showed a "S"-shaped curve of "slow-fast-slow",and there was a phenomenon of difference in the development of male and female plants.Male leaves are superior to female leaves in terms of leaf length, leaf thickness, leaf area, epidermal cells and mesophyll tissue, showing stronger preference for light and higher photosynthetic efficiency;female leaves have stronger water content and inorganic salt conductivity.(2)The morphological development of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.fruit showed a single "S" curve. The development of fruits of Schisandra chinensis can be divided into four stages:slow growth(early post-flowering to green fruit stage)→rapid growth(green fruit stage to swelling stage)→slow growth tends to stagnate(swelling stage to coloring stage)→stagnant growth(top The anatomical features and growth dynamics are basically the same.As the fruit continues to mature, the volume of mesocarp cells continues to increase, and as the pericarp changes from hard to soft, the thickness of exocarp cells continues to decrease.(3)The accumulation of main lignans in leaves of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.showed "M" type(female leaves)and "V" type(male leaves). The lignan content of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.is still different between males and females. The lignan content of male leaves is higher than that of female leaves. The lignan accumulation period of the two is also different, and the lignan content of female leaves reaches the coloring stage. The maximum value was 43.57μg/g FW,and the lignan content of male leaves reached the maximum value of 56.54 μg/g FW at the mature stage.(4)The accumulation of lignans in the fruit of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils.showed an inverted "V" type, and the accumulation of lignans in the fruit axis and stalk was a "Z" type. The lignan content in the fruit reached the maximum value of 2063.73 μg/g FW at the coloring stage, the lignan content in the fruit axis reached the maximum value of 118.79 μg/g FW at the swelling stage, and the lignan content in the fruit stalk reached the maximum value at the coloring stage.Maximum 68.97 μg/g FW.(5)Correlation between leaf and fruit morphological development and accumulat ion of lignans in Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils..According to the correlation analysis,it can be seen that the heavier the leaves, the higher the content of Schisanth erin A in the leaves of the female plant, the longer the petiole, the higher the content of Schisantherin A in the petioles of the male plant;the content of schisandra in the fruit of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.et Wils. The content of Schisantherin A in fruit incr eased with the increase of Schisantherin A in leaves. There is a certain transport relatio nship between lignans in leaves and fruits, and the accumulation of lignans in leaves c an reflect the accumulation of lignans in fruits at different developmental stages to a c ertain extent.
