| The flowers of Hydrangea macrophylla are bright,with high ornamental value,and can be artificially blue-tuned.They are loved by people and have a large market demand.Because the flower color control technology is not mature,there are uneven color,fuzzy color,color deviation.In this experiment,10 varieties of Hydrangea macrophylla from three color lines were used as experimental materials for cutting propagation,and their biological characteristics were observed.Hydrangea macrophylla varieties suitable for blue-toning were screened out with aluminum as color-modifying agent.At the same time,the effects of aluminum application period,aluminum application interval,environmental factors,and aluminum sulfate treatment on the flower color of ’Endless summer’ were studied.The visual method and instrument method were used to digitally describe the flower color in the full bloom period to determine the best treatment.Provide theoretical support for the flower color control technology.The main research results are as follows:1.Screening of cultivars for controlling flower color of impatiens.(1)Study on the Growth,Development and Flowering Characteristics of Different Varieties of Hydrangea macrophylla.The inflorescence of ’ Frisbee bule ’ is different from other varieties,the petal of ’ Endless summer ’ is small but the crown is large.The flowering period of impatiens Hydrangea macrophylla was 40~47 days,and the flowering period of ’ Endless summer’ was the longest,and the flowering period was 90~100 days.In the cutting cultivation,the underground growth of hardwood cutting is large and robust,but the cultivation cycle is long.(2)Screening of Al-regulated flower color reaction in impatiens.Under the action of aluminum sulfate,the flower color changed differently,and the white system did not change color;pink system can become blue,blue pink,blue purple;red into purple red,blue purple;through subjective evaluation of different varieties of Hydrangea macrophylla from breeding,ornamental value,plant condition,flower color regulation difficulty,it is concluded that the suitable varieties for flower color blue are ’ Endless summer ’,’ Baby blue’ and’ Frisbee bule ’.2.Analysis and screening of dominant factors for color change of Hydrangea macrophylla.(1)Effect of aluminum sulfate concentration on flower color of different varieties of Hydrangea macrophylla.At the budding stage,300-350 mL of 10g/L aluminum sulfate solution was irrigated every 7/d until flowering.The flower color of Hydrangea macrophylla changed with the increase of aluminum sulfate concentration.The flower color changed when the concentration of aluminum sulfate was 6g/L in the pink system,changed when the concentration of aluminum sulfate was 8g/L in the red system,and did not change when the concentration of aluminum sulfate was in the white system.The flower color of all varieties applying aluminum sulfate powder at the budding stage was the same as that applying 10g/L aluminum sulfate solution.(2)Effects of application time and interval of aluminum sulfate on flower color of ’ Endless summer’.Flower color of ’ Endless summer’ does not change when aluminum sulfate solution is applied at the beginning of flowering.At budding stage,5g aluminum sulfate powder and 7d/time.11d/time 10g/L aluminum sulfate solution changed into blue.The flower color changed to blue with 10g/L aluminum sulfate solution 7d/time and 11 d/time before budding.(3)Effects of substrate pH and aluminum sulfate treatment on flower color of’Endless summer ’.Under aluminum treatment,the blue degree b*of substrate pH 4.0~4.2 was the smallest,and the plant color was blue.The flower color of substrate pH 5.0~5.2 was light blue,and the flower color of substrate pH 6.0~6.2 was blue-pink.Under non-aluminum treatment,the substrate pH 4.0~4.2 had the smallest redness and the largest blueness,and the plant color was green.The substrate pH 5.0~5.2 and the substrate pH 6.0~6.2 were pink.(4)Effects of light intensity and aluminum sulfate treatment on flower color of’Endless summerUnder non-aluminum treatment,with the increase of light intensity,the redness a*value and color C increased,and the flower color changed from white to pink.Under aluminum treatment,the flower color of ’Endless summer’ became blue.With the increase of light intensity,the blueness b*and redness a*decreased,and the flower color at the late flowering stage decreased with the anthocyanin content. |
