The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of microencapsulated complex of plant essential oils and organic acids on the growth performance,nutrient digestibility,intestinal immunity-related indicators,intestinal morphology and structural integrity of weaned piglets.Both Essential Oils and Organic Acids Preparations 1 and Essential Oils and Organic Acids Preparations 2 use vegetable hydrogenated fat as the microcapsule shell to coat citric acid,sorbic acid,thymol,and vanillin,a total of 45% of the active ingredients,but the providers are different.For the experiment,250 weaned piglets at21 days of age were randomly divided into 5 groups: Base group(feeding basic diet),LA group(feeding basic diet + 500g/t Essential Oils and Organic Acids Preparations 1),and MA group(feeding basic diet + 800g/t Essential Oils and Organic Acids Preparations 1),HA group(feeding basic diet + 2000g/t Essential Oils and Organic Acids Preparations 2),BHA group(feeding basic diet + 2000g/t Essential Oils and Organic Acids Preparations 2 +500g/t Essential Oils and Organic Acids Preparations 1).5 replicates per group,10 pigs per replicate,continuous feeding for 20 days to determine the growth performance and diarrhea rate of piglets during the test;2 days before the end of the test,stool samples were collected for the determination of nutrient digestibility;Blood separation serum is used to determine biochemical indicators;after blood collection,slaughter,dissect and collect samples of tissues and tissues,and be used to determine the expression of microorganisms and intestinal tight junction proteins.The test results are as follows:(1)Compared with the Base group,the daily weight gain and daily feed intake of each group have a numerical decrease;while except for the LA group,the feed weight ratio of each group has a certain degree of decrease compared with the Base group.But did not reach a significant difference level(P>0.05).(2)The liver index of weaned piglets in LA and MA groups was significantly lower than that in Base group(P<0.05).The pH of the ileum in the Base and LA groups were significantly higher than those in the MA,HA,and BHA groups(P<0.05).(3)The duodenal amylase activity of the LA group was higher than that of the Base group(P=0.058),and the ileal amylase activity of the BHA group was significantly higher than that of the Base group,LA group,and MA group(P<0.05).The duodenal lipase activity of HA group was significantly higher than that of Base group and MA group.The jejunal lipase activity of Base group was significantly higher than that of BHA group and MA group(P<0.05),the ileal lipase activity of BHA group was significantly lower than that of LA group,MA group and HA group(P<0.05).(4)The apparent digestibility of crude protein in MA and BHA groups was significantly lower than that in Base group,LA group,and MA and BHA groups.The apparent digestibility of dry matter in the MA and BHA groups was significantly lower than that in the Base and LA groups,and the apparent digestibility of the dry matter in the MA group was significantly lower than that in the HA group(P<0.05).The apparent digestibility of the crude ash in the MA group was lower than that in Base(P=0.079).(5)The jejunum villi height in LA group was significantly higher than that in Base,MA group and BHA group.The relative expression of ZO-1 gene m RNA in MA group was significantly increased compared with Base group(P<0.05),and the relative expression of ZO-1 gene in MA group was significantly increased compared with BHA group(P<0.05).The relative expression of IL-10 gene in MA group had an upward trend compared with Base group(P=0.092).(6)The serum Ig G in the MA group tended to be higher than that in the LA group(P=0.072).The jejunum SIg A in HA group tended to be higher than that in LA group(P=0.072),the jejunum SIg A in BHA group was significantly higher than that in LA group(P<0.05),and the trend in MA group was higher than that in LA group(P=0.073).(7)Bifidobacterium in the cecum of the MA group had a higher tendency than that of the Base group(P=0.066).Bifidobacterium in the cecum of the MA group was significantly higher than that of the LA group(P<0.05).The number of E.coli in the MA group was lower than that in the Base group,but it did not reach a significant difference(P>0.05).In summary,the plant essential oils and organic acid preparations used in this experiment had no significant effect on the growth performance of weaned piglets.However,the addition of 500 g / ton of plant essential oil and organic acid preparation 1 to the feed improved the morphological structure of the piglet jejunum mucosa and could increase theα-amylase activity in the intestines of piglets.Adding 800 g / ton of plant essential oils and organic acid preparations to the feed improves the intestinal health of piglets,showing that its chemical immunity is at a higher level,with higher expression of tight junction proteins and more reasonable The cecum microbial flora.In a comprehensive comparison,the growth performance of the 800 g / ton group is better than that of the 500 g / ton group,and the 800 g / ton group has a better effect in improving intestinal health.Therefore,the recommended dosage of plant essential oil and organic acid preparation 1(25% citric acid,16.7% sorbic acid,1.7% thymol,1% vanillin)under this test condition is 800 g / ton.
