and research direction of modern livestock and poultry breeding industry to carry out the research of alternative antibiotics and growth promoting products.Pithecellobium clypearia Benth was an important Chinese herbal tree species in South China.Modern pharmacology and phytochemistry research showed that Pithecellobium clypearia Benth has important value in clinical research of acute enteritis, hypoglycemia, antifungal and anti-inflammatory.Serine,as a nonessential amino acid, was involved in the metabolism of methionine.By providing methyl donor to participate in the regulation of epigenetic mechanism, serine affects the growth and development of animals and the metabolism of nutrients.Pithecellobium clypearia Benth and serine as green and safe feed additives have potential advantages and development prospects. In this experiment,Pithecellobium clypearia Benth and serine were used as research objects to explore the effects of Pithecellobium clypearia Benth and serine on growth performance, meat quality and intestinal development of broilers. The first experiment was the effect of Pithecellobium clypearia Benth on growth performance, meat quality and intestinal development of broilers.400 1-day-old hemp yellow chicken(female)were randomly divided into 4 groups,10 replicates in each group,10 replicates in each group. The control group was fed basic diet, the experimental group were 0.5% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth group,1% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth group,2% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth group. The test period was 6 weeks. The results showed that the addition of Pithecellobium clypearia Benth in the diet had no significant effect on ADFI and ADG(P>0.05);compared with the control group, the 0.5%Pithecellobium clypearia Benth group could reduce the feed to meat ratio by 0.04(P>0.05).The addition of Pithecellobium clypearia Benth in the diet had no significant effect on the slaughter rate, half clean bore rate and full clean bore rate of broilers(P>0.05),but the addition of 0.5% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth and 2% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth could significantly increase the breast muscle rate of broilers(P<0.05),the former was better;the addition of 2% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth significantly reduced the abdominal fat rate of broilers(P<0.05),and the level of Pithecellobium clypearia Benth had a certain negative correlation with the abdominal fat rate. The addition of Pithecellobium clypearia Benth improved the flesh color of pectoral muscles, and improved the p H,drip loss, cooking loss and shear force of leg muscles after slaughter. The relative weight of jejunum, length of duodenal villus, duodenal villus / crypt and jejunal villus /crypt in the 0.5% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).In the serum biochemical indexes, the serum triglyceride, total cholesterol and blood glucose were significantly reduced in all the Pithecellobium clypearia Benth groups(P<0.05),and the higher the level of Pithecellobium clypearia Benth, the more obvious the decrease of blood lipid related indexes. The second experiment was the effect of serine on growth performance, meat quality and intestinal development of broilers.300 hens(female)were randomly divided into three groups: control group, alanine nitrogen group and 0.1% serine group. Each group had 10 replicates,10 replicates. The control group was fed basic diet, alanine and other nitrogen groups were added to basic diet with 0.1% serine and other nitrogen levels of alanine. The test period was 6 weeks. The results showed that: compared with the control group,adding0.1% serine in the diet significantly increased the final weight of broilers(P<0.05);to a certain extent, reducing the ratio of feed to meat,ADG,ADFI increased, but not significantly(P>0.05);it could significantly reduce the muscle fat width(P<0.05),the other indexes of slaughter performance had no significant difference(P>0.05);it significantly increased the spleen index(P<0.05),significantly increased the p H(24 h),the spleen index(P<0.05)At the same time,L *,cooking loss and p H(45 min)were significantly increased(P<0.05).Serine significantly increased the corrected length of duodenum and jejunum, the relative weight of jejunum and ileum, the length of villi and the ratio of villi / crypt in duodenum, jejunum and ileum(P<0.05).To sum up,adding 0.5% Pithecellobium clypearia Benth in the feed can promote the growth of broilers to a certain extent and reduce the feed to meat ratio;adding Pithecellobium clypearia Benth can also significantly improve meat quality, reduce abdominal fat and improve blood lipid index.Adding 0.1% serine to the diet can promote the growth of broilers, reduce the ratio of feed to meat, improve the meat quality, optimize the intestinal tissue structure and promote the development of intestinal tract. The results provide theoretical basis and application reference for the development and promotion of green feed additive products. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Pithecellobium clypearia Benth, Serine, Growth performance, Meat quality, Intestinal
