Camellia nitidissima C.W.Chi,as a rare and ancient tea tree species unique to guangxi,is a typical undergrowth plant resistant to shade and humidity.It has high ornamental,medicinal and health care value,and enjoys the reputation of "queen of tea nation" and "giant panda in plant kingdom".The antioxidant capacity of Camellia nitidissima is mainly related to its secondary metabolites,such as phenols and flavonoids,and its scavenging ability to free radicals.Oxidation is closely related to many diseases of the human body.It is well known that during boron starvation,plants regulate enzyme activity to affect the amount of phenolic compounds in their plants.However,there is still a gap in the research on the effect of borax fertilizer on the antioxidant activity of camellia sinensis flowers.Therefore,through spraying different concentrations(T1(0.05%)、T2(0.1%)、T3(0.15%)、T4(0.2%)、T5(0.25%))of boric fertilizer on the surface of golden flower tea at the flowering stage,this experiment analyzed the influence of boric fertilizer on the antioxidant components and antioxidant capacity of golden flower tea by exploring the changes in the content of antioxidant active substances,antioxidant capacity and enzyme activity.We expect to improve the accumulation of antioxidant quality of camellia sinensis through economic and rapid methods,provide technical support for the cultivation and quality improvement of camellia sinensis,promote the improvement and development of cultivation technology under camellia sinensis plantation,and provide theoretical basis for the cultivation and application of camellia sinensis in the future.The main findings include the following.(1)The application of 5 concentrations of boric fertilizer on the leaves did not significantly increase the total polyphenols content of Camellia nitidissima,but the high concentration of boric fertilizer(T3-T5)significantly increased the total flavonoids content of Camellia nitidissima.However,the T3 concentration of boron treatment significantly increased the reducing sugar content in Camellia nitidissima,but did not significantly increase the total sugar content.(2)Boron fertilizer with T1 concentration can significantly increase the scavenging ability of Camellia nitidissima to O2-,boron fertilizer with T2 concentration can significantly increase the scavenging ability of Camellia nitidissima to ABTs,and boron fertilizer with T3 concentration can significantly increase the scavenging ability of Camellia nitidissima to DPPH and ·OH.On the whole,low concentration of boric fertilizer can significantly increase the free radical scavenging ability of camellia flower,and the best performance is at T3 concentration,but high concentration of boric fertilizer will reduce the free radical scavenging ability of camellia flower to some extent.(3)the T3 concentration of boron fertilizer added can make gold scented Camellia nitidissima PAL enzyme activity,the rise of the correlation analysis results show that at the same time,Camellia nitidissima total polyphenol content and · OH clearance ability is significantly related to the content of total sugar and ABTs removal ability significantly positive correlation,and flavonoids content and DPPH removal ability significantly positive correlation,and PAL enzyme vigor extremely significant positive correlation.All in all,proper amount of boric fertilizer can promote the antioxidant capacity of Camellia nitidissima.Secondly,the flower of Camellia nitidissima is more sensitive to boron element,and the application of T3 concentration of boric fertilizer can best promote the antioxidant capacity of camellia sinensis flower. |
