Low-speed heavy-duty involute gear as a key component of large transmission system,widely used in construction,energy,metallurgy,aviation and other engineering fields that need to transmit higher torque,in the above areas of the working process,gears usually bear large overturning moment,instantaneous impact stress and other working conditions,which will lead to gear misalignment error,affect the dynamic characteristics of the gear,and then reduce the fatigue life of the gear,and the fatigue failure of the gear will make the entire gear transmission system fail,causing incalculable losses.Therefore,it is of practical engineering value to study the influence of misalignment error on the fatigue damage characteristics of gears,and then improve the fatigue life prediction accuracy of gears.The influence of misalignment error on gear load size,direction and load distribution is analyzed,and a gear meshing stiffness calculation model that can consider misalignment error is established based on the energy method,and the influence of misalignment error on the dynamic characteristics of low-speed heavy-duty involute gears is analyzed through the change of gear meshing stiffness and gear line load under misalignment error.The dynamic characteristics of low-speed heavy-duty involute gears are studied by the finite element method,and after the constraints and loads are applied,an accurate finite element model of misaligned gears is established,and the transient dynamics simulation calculation of gears with misalignment errors is carried out based on the implicit dynamics algorithm,and the dynamic characteristics of gears caused by misalignment errors in the meshing process are analyzed,and the basis is provided for solving the fatigue life of gears.The test gear is designed and processed to obtain a test gear similar to the low-speed heavy-duty involute gear,and the gear is loaded at high frequency in the form of a unidirectional pulsation cycle,and the gear fatigue test is carried out based on the group method,and the fatigue life data of the test gear under different stress levels is processed by statistical theory,and the P-S-N curve describing the relationship between the reliability,stress and life of the gear is obtained.Based on the gear P-S-N curve,according to the nominal stress method and linear cumulative damage theory,the fatigue life of the misaligned gear was calculated,the life change was analyzed,and the influence of misalignment error on the fatigue characteristics of low-speed heavy-duty involute gears was studied.
