Research On The Hall Building Along The Beijing-hangzhou Canal

As a traffic artery that runs through the north and south,the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal connects five major water systems,spans four provinces and two cities,undertakes the important task of connecting the political center and the economic center of the north and south,and has a far-reaching impact on the urban spatial evolution and architectural development along the route.Among the many types of buildings along the route,the hall building is the most closely related to the fate of the canal and the rise and fall of cities along the route.With the interruption of the canal,wars and disputes and the coming of modern city construction,the original unique spatial form of the canal city has been destroyed,and the hall buildings along the line have disappeared into the historical clouds,so the protection work is urgent.According to the development course of the Beijing-Hangzhou Canal and the cities along it,and the development characteristics of the hall buildings,this thesis selects the most representative hall buildings in Beijing,Jining,Liaocheng,Suzhou and Yangzhou along the canal,analyzes the functional attributes and distribution characteristics,urban spatial form and economic structure of the hall along the canal,and discusses the relationship between urban functions and the functional deviation of the hall in the canal city belt.According to the functional types,the guild halls along the canal are divided into two categories: gentry guild halls and commercial guild halls,and their distribution characteristics,building scale,site selection and layout,architectural shape and other aspects are studied in depth.Taking the theater as an example,the architectural characteristics of the guild halls along the canal are analyzed,and on the basis of the above,the differences in architectural shape of the guild halls with different functional attributes,user groups,hierarchical status and location are compared,and the influencing factors are analyzed.Finally,according to the value evaluation and significance exploration of the guild halls along the line,the corresponding protection strategies are put forward in combination with the actual situation to promote the cultural protection work.Under the background of vigorously promoting the canal culture era,the protection and utilization of the cultural heritage of the Grand Canal has been paid more and more attention.Through the analysis and research on the shape law and influencing factors of guild halls along the canal,it will not only help to deepen the study of guild halls,but also broaden the scope of canal science,deepen the understanding of the relationship among the canal,guild halls and cities,and better protect the guild halls in a holistic way,and provide reference for the protection of other types of traditional buildings.
