Research On Blue-Green Landscape Visibility Of Wuhan Super Tall Buildings

Abstract/Summary:
In the face of the urban landscape features gradually homogenized and the rapid expansion of urban construction on the urban landscape resources brought about by the adverse impact,super tall buildings as part of the city composition,different from the streetscape on the ground,the landscape in the city park,greenery in the residential community,super tall buildings themselves as landmark buildings,as the public can be reached in the city to appreciate the landscape environment,the building The height of the building is the characteristic advantage of the city landscape as its viewing point,but the current situation of super-tall buildings often ignore the construction of its viewing landscape.Modern people have new demands in the new urban environment,and how to give people the view experience of enjoying the view from the high altitude perspective with the help of super tall buildings has become a new issue in the context of the times.In this study,a 3D city model of the main city of Wuhan and its extended area is constructed by using CityEngine parametric modeling technology.The model includes building modeling,vegetation modeling,water modeling,and pavement modeling.In the virtual environment of the 3D model,a bird’s-eye view point is constructed by creating a view dome,and the panoramic map within the view area is exported for 720° panoramic view analysis to explore the related research on the visibility rate of blue-green space.The analysis of the overlooked landscape includes three aspects.First,the analysis of the area ratio of each element of the panorama,i.e.,the visibility analysis,specifically includes vegetation visibility rate,water visibility rate,building visibility rate,pavement visibility rate,blue-green space visibility rate,gray space visibility rate,shading rate,etc.Second,through the correlation analysis of visibility rate and coverage area,visibility rate and shading rate,and visibility rate and building height,we analyze the influencing factors affecting the visibility rate of overlook landscape of super tall buildings.Third,the analysis of each element in different spatial perspectives,i.e.,landscape surface analysis,including the southeast and northwest four orientation perspectives.Using the above analysis methods,the spatial distribution characteristics of the visibility rate of the overlooked landscape of Wuhan supertall buildings,the spatial distribution characteristics of the shading rate,as well as the correlation analysis of other influencing elements and visibility,and the visibility of various districts in Wuhan within the study area are studied and discussed.At the same time,the visibility of the overlooked landscape of residential buildings and public buildings is discussed from the perspective of building function types,and suggestions are made for the selection and construction of landscape surfaces of different building types from the perspective of visibility rate.The results show that the average sky visibility rate of 727 supertall building overlooks in the study area is about 53%,followed by the average building visibility rate of about25%,the average vegetation visibility rate of about 9%,the average pavement visibility rate of about 7%,and the average water visibility rate of about 2%.By comparison,it is concluded that the vegetation visibility rate of Wuhan built-up area relying on supertall buildings is much smaller than the vegetation visibility rate of people on ground level streets,but the sky visibility rate relying on supertall buildings is much larger than the sky visibility rate of people on ground level streets.The building visibility rate of super tall buildings is greater than the building visibility rate of people on ground level streets.In terms of spatial distribution,the spatial distribution of vegetation visibility rate at the viewpoint of supertall buildings shows a trend of gradually increasing from the center of Wuhan main city to the surrounding area.The spatial distribution of the visibility rate of water bodies at the viewpoints of supertall buildings shows a trend of higher distance from the Yangtze River and scattered lakes and rivers.The spatial distribution of the visibility rate of blue and green spaces at the viewpoints of supertall buildings shows a trend of gradually increasing from the center of Wuhan main urban area to the surrounding area.In terms of shading rate,the average vegetation shading rate of the 727 overlooks in the study area is about 8%,and the average water body shading rate is about 6%.Vegetation is mainly shaded by buildings.The water bodies were mainly shaded by buildings and secondly by vegetation.The correlation analysis shows that there is a significant correlation between the vegetation visibility rate and the vegetation coverage area at the overlook points of super tall buildings,and the vegetation visibility rate is less influenced by the vegetation shading rate.While the visibility rate of water bodies is not as influenced by the coverage area of water bodies as vegetation,there is also an obvious correlation.At the same time,the water body visibility rate is much more influenced by the water body shading rate than the vegetation visibility rate is influenced by the vegetation shading rate,and there is an obvious correlation between the water body visibility rate and the water body shading rate.There is an obvious positive correlation between vegetation visibility rate and building height,no correlation between water visibility rate and building height,and positive correlation between blue-green space visibility rate and building height.From the average of the visibility rates of each element in each district of Wuhan,the average vegetation visibility rate and the average water body visibility rate in Caidian and Hanyang districts are higher,the average vegetation visibility rate in Jianghan district is the lowest,and the average water body visibility rate in Jiangxia is the lowest.In comparison with public buildings and residential buildings,the number of residential super-tall buildings is significantly higher than the number of public buildings.Among the public buildings,the number of commercial office buildings accounts for a larger number of buildings.In terms of vegetation visibility rate,residential buildings are slightly higher than public buildings;in terms of water visibility rate,both residential buildings and public buildings are relatively low;in terms of blue-green space visibility rate,residential buildings are slightly higher than public buildings;in terms of gray space visibility rate,public buildings are higher than residential buildings.The visibility rate of gray space is significantly higher than that of vegetation,water bodies and blue-green space.Finally,the corresponding principles are proposed for the selection of landscape surface for overlook points with high blue-green space visibility rate and for different building types,so as to provide suggestions for the construction of overlook landscape of super high-rise buildings.
