With the development of mobile internet technology,transportation modes are undergoing profound changes.Modern city residents’ travel patterns are no longer limited to just public transportation or private cars.The increasing popularity of mobile internet technology allows people to obtain real-time traffic information and route planning through mobile terminals,such as smartphones,and choose more convenient and efficient transportation modes.At present,the use of mobile internet transportation information mainly provides travel guidance and travel planning decision-making information to users.However,the integration and sharing of transportation information platforms with smart city systems are still scarce,and the application of mobile internet transportation information needs to be further explored.This presents a new challenge for investigating residents’ travel characteristics and requirements under the context of mobile internet transportation information.Studying the travel characteristics and demands of residents under mobile internet transportation information is of great significance for formulating transportation policies and improving travel service levels.Initially,a theoretical analysis of travel characteristics under mobile internet transportation information was conducted,and the basic concept of this information was explained.The paper elaborated on the choice behavior of travelers and explored the factors affecting travel choice behavior based on the analysis of choice theory.The SP survey method was used to investigate the factors influencing mobile internet transportation information,and the survey results provided the vertical dimension of the key influence factor selection set.Two-factor analyses in SPSS software yielded the weights of single types of mobile internet transportation information,and the horizontal dimension of the key influence factor selection set was established.Finally,the intersection of horizontal and vertical dimensions is used to form a set containing 8 key influencing factors,which can solve the complexity of travel characteristics questionnaire design.Next,the SP-RP fusion design method was used to construct a survey questionnaire meeting accuracy requirement for small-sample surveys,and its rationality in this study was demonstrated.The paper introduced and improved the SP optimization orthogonal design method,designed a scenario simulation decision-making process for travel chains based on the key influence factor selection set,and obtained selection data for model calibration and result analysis.Based on this,a specific survey plan is designed around the research center and the travel characteristics of Guilin residents are investigated and analyzed.The data foundation for modeling is provided according to the results of case analysis.Finally,the theory and method of disaggregated model are adopted to screen out valid data from key attributes of mobile Internet traffic information.The modeling ideas and overall framework are elaborated,and the travel mode selection model and departure time selection model under mobile Internet traffic information are constructed."Traffic information perception degree" is introduced as a variable in the model.It realizes the simultaneous analysis of the influence of mobile Internet traffic information environment and content on travel characteristics.Then,using STATA software to calibrate various models,the impact of mobile internet transportation information on traveler travel characteristics was qualitatively analyzed.In addition,by analyzing the parameter values of various influencing factors in depth,the actual significance of different mobile internet transportation information on travel mode selection and departure time selection was revealed,and the differences in resident travel characteristics between mobile internet and non-mobile internet information environments were elaborated.
