With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,vehicles that combine modern communication and network technology will step toward intelligence and connection,Intelligent Connected Vehicle(ICV).By embedding advanced sensors and smart control units can realize vehicle-to-vehicle,vehicle-to-infrastructure,vehicle-to-pedestrian,vehicle-to-cloud communications,can realize data interconnection,a series of vehicular service applications have been created,including various application types such as traffic safety,efficiency improvement and information services.Named Data Networking(NDN)is a content-oriented networking architecture that has been applied to the Vehicular Named Data Networking(VNDN)framework,which is currently a solution for vehicular networks.This paper focuses on addressing issues related to network resource allocation imbalances,intermittent communication and accurate retrieval in message routing and forwarding within VNDN,as well as storage resource allocation and response delay issues during content caching.To improve the quality of vehicular services for intelligent connected vehicles,this article proposes a message type-based routing forwarding strategy and a content-aware optimization caching strategy for VNDN.The detail works are as follows:(1)A classification summary of routing and forwarding strategies in Vehicular Named Data Networking(VNDN)was carried out,and a routing and forwarding strategy based on message type was proposed.This strategy considers the message characteristics and whether the location of the destination node is known,designs an adaptive routing,and uses the multiattribute entropy weight decision-making to select the Next node for message forwarding,considering the Relative Distance,Relative Velocity and Bridging Centrality of nodes.The criteria are also selected to make cache decision when the data is returned.(2)A content optimization caching strategy based on content awareness was designed for the vehicular service application.The strategy is divided into two phases.In the first phase,the content caching probability model is constructed to predict the preference matrix of vehicle node and the popularity matrix of regional content,and the aim of establishing content caching probability matrix of the whole system.In the second phase,a node caching incentive algorithm is designed considering the selfishness optimization model of nodes.By considering the node preferences and calculating node costs,different incentive values are issued and the incentive matrix is updated.(3)The simulation verifies that the routing and forwarding strategy based on message type is suitable for urban traffic scenarios with high and low density.Through joint simulation with ndn SIM and SUMO,compared with other strategies,this strategy improves the packet delivery rate of a single node and cache hit rate,reduces the average delay and network overhead,and optimizes the overall network performance.MATLAB simulation and strategy comparison show that the algorithm not only reduces the system overhead but also improves the cache hit ratio.
