With the urbanisation process in China and the accelerated pace of expressway construction,many bypass highways are transformed into urban road systems.In view of the impact arising from the transformation of motorways into urban expressways,this thesis relies on the Shijiazhuang Xinyuan Expressway Transformation Urban Expressway Project to carry out research work on the transformation of motorways into urban expressways,proposing a quantitative analysis of the model of the degree of impact produced by expressways on urban roads,and proposing a method for determining the layout of expressways in new areas.Study of the Xin Yuan Expressway Improvement Project to alleviate the imbalance between traffic supply and demand and traffic congestion in major cities.The main work is as follows:Analyze the traffic characteristics of the municipal renovation of highways.Analyze the traffic characteristics of highways and urban expressways,and summarize the differences in traffic characteristics between highways and expressways.Conduct an investigation and analysis of the current traffic situation of the Xinyuan Expressway and the basic road traffic situation in the main urban area of Shijiazhuang City,laying a theoretical foundation.Establishing a macro road model of Shijiazhuang city.Through the Gaode open platform,the basic data of the road traffic operation in the main urban area of Shijiazhuang was collected.Using Trans CAD traffic software,a macro road network model of Shijiazhuang was built,modelled and simulated by the four-stage method,and the model was calibrated by applying OD backpropagation to obtain a macro road network model that can reflect the real operation state.A model of the degree of influence of the transformation of highways into urban expressways on connecting roads is proposed.By analysing the influencing factors,three factors are selected: the level of the connecting road,the intensity of hair absorption,and the operating condition of the connecting road.Using the macroscopic model built for simulation and verification,the degree of impact of connecting different roads on the roads in the central city is evaluated separately,and the law of the degree of impact of the expressway on the connecting roads in the central city under the connecting different road schemes is summarised,and the mathematical model is applied to model the law,and the calculation method is proposed to quantitatively calculate the degree of impact of the different connecting methods on the roads,which provides an This will provide an effective reference basis for new road connections.Propose a method for determining the layout of expressways in new urban areas.Based on the steps of proposing alternative solutions,predicting macro conditions,selecting evaluation indicators,testing road networks under different traffic demands,and analyzing solutions,this thesis summarizes the methods for determining the layout of expressways in adjacent central urban areas,and clarifies the conditions for their use.And through this method,the layout of expressways in the development zone of Shijiazhuang City is determined,and the expressways are combined with the roads after municipal transformation to form a network of expressways,providing theoretical support for the selection of specific forms of expressways in the new area.
