The rise of a new round of technological change and the rapid development of industrial transformation have brought new opportunities for historical development to the new energy automobile manufacturing industry, and the lithium battery equipment manufacturing industry, which is the upstream of its industrial chain, has fully benefited. The vigorous development of the lithium battery and its equipment manufacturing industry has made the competition among enterprises intensified.Only by strengthening their own development level and improving their core competitiveness can enterprises survive and develop better. One of the ways companies can quickly gain a competitive advantage is through mergers and acquisitions.Although the energy conservation, environmental protection and new energy equipment manufacturing industries are the key industries supported by the state,at present,China’s M&A research on lithium battery and its equipment manufacturing industry is not in-depth.Therefore,in the context of energy reform,it is of great significance to deeply explore the M&A activities of lithium battery equipment industry. This paper takes the leading intelligent M&A Titan as an example,by studying the development status of enterprises after M&A,to explore whether M&A can bring positive effects to enterprises to improve their business performance and achieve their overall strategic goals.Based on multiple perspectives such as M&A motivation,M&A performance, and evaluation methods, this paper summarizes and organizes domestic and foreign research results, compares commonly used M&A performance evaluation methods with the Balanced Scorecard, and finds that the Balanced Scorecard can overcome the commonly used M&A performance evaluation methods. The lack of performance evaluation method, its analysis angle includes many aspects related to enterprise profitability and sustainable development, and can comprehensively and dynamically evaluate the effect of enterprise mergers and acquisitions. Therefore, this paper finally decides to use the multi-dimensional thought of the Balanced Scorecard to evaluate the effect of mergers and acquisitions.Based on the industry background of both parties and their own development status, this paper deeply explores the motives for enterprises to implement mergers and acquisitions, selects appropriate indicators from four perspectives, and builds a merger and acquisition performance index evaluation system that conforms to the characteristics of the company’s own development, and explores whether the merger behavior has improved Enterprise performance, and finally use the entropy method to comprehensively evaluate the overall performance of the leading intelligent M&A Titan New Power. After analysis,it is concluded that the M&A effect of Pioneer Intelligence in the early stage of M&A is not obvious. In the later stage,it fully combines the company’s development strategy and takes effective measures to increase resource integration,so that the company can obtain a large number of new customer groups, and the company’s R&D and innovation capabilities have been improved.Greatly improved, internal costs have also been effectively controlled, and corporate performance has gradually improved.Overall, the company’s M&A performance has performed well, and the original intention of M&A has been basically realized.Combined with the research results, this paper analyzes the reasons for the success of leading intelligent mergers and acquisitions and the problems in the process of mergers and acquisitions from four perspectives: the financial dimension, the customer dimension, the internal process dimension, and the learning and growth dimension. The industry’s successful M&A expansion provides corresponding reference and research ideas.
