Research On The Application Of Regional Culture In The Improvement And Optimization Of Urban Road Landscape

As a famous tourist city,Guilin not only has the natural geographical characteristics of "landscape is the best in the world",but also has a strong and unique regional culture.Its urban roads not only bear the basic natural attribute responsibility of improving the road space structure and function,but also bear the social attribute responsibility of showing the city image and highlighting the regional culture.The quality of road landscape directly affects the overall urban landscape of Guilin,and is one of the important factors affecting the tourist experience.Especially in the current situation of "landscape convergence" of urban style,the regional cultural atmosphere sense of urban road landscape is extremely lacking,which is not conducive to the development of the overall urban landscape and the inheritance of excellent regional culture.To sum up,how to create a unique urban road landscape has become a problem that cannot be ignored.The road landscape with the characteristics of Guilin’s exclusive urban regional culture should be constructed from the following aspects: 1.Guilin regional culture should be systematically studied and condensed;2.Apply the condensed typical regional culture to the improvement and optimization of road landscape;3.Reasonable arrangement of road landscape with regional characteristics.Therefore,this paper studies the application of regional culture in the improvement and optimization of urban road landscape in the following five parts:1.Expound the research background,significance,content and research object,analyze domestic and foreign outstanding typical cases,understand the current situation and development of regional culture in the improvement and optimization of urban road landscape,and determine the research methods and technical routes.2,the relevant concepts and theories involved in the research are expounded and summarized,and the design principles,key points and normative elements that should be followed in the process of improving and optimizing the road landscape are explored with road safety as the primary premise.3.Systematically analyze the regional culture of Guilin,excavate the excellent typical regional culture of Guilin,and transform it into usable landscape design materials and symbols through relevant design methods,and then apply it to the road landscape design.4.Select Zhongshan Road,a representative urban landscape avenue in Guilin,to analyze the current situation and summarize the advantages and disadvantages of its road landscape development,propose the application ideas and implementation paths of regional culture in the road landscape improvement and optimization of Zhongshan Road,and analyze the road landscape in need of improvement and optimization.And using geographic information system(GIS)related methods to improve and optimize the road landscape reasonable layout,improve the practical feasibility.5.Summarize the research topic,analyze the research deficiencies,and put forward the prospect.This paper aims to take the road landscape of Zhongshan Road in Guilin city as the research object,analyze the application of Guilin regional culture in its promotion and optimization,and put forward effective regional culture application and implementation path in the promotion and optimization of urban road landscape,so as to meet the regional cultural needs of road landscape in Guilin’s comprehensive construction of "mountain-water-city" urban form,and improve the visibility of Guilin’s excellent regional culture.It provides a reference for other tourism cities’ regional culture in the promotion and optimization of urban road landscape application research.
