Research On Scheduling Optimization Of Slotting Process In D Company Based On Group Technology

The homegeneous competiton of flooring market and the personalized needs of users are more and more prominent,the multi-variety and small-bath production mode has gradually become the mainstrem of industry.Due to the variety of products and random orders,unreasonable planning and scheduling will result in disruption of production system,uneven productquality and delivery delay.Therefore,it is particularly important to plan the workshop scheduling for the bottleneck link.This paper takes the floor production process of D company as the object of observation,identifies the existing bottlenecks,and aims to propose a scientific and reasonable slotting process planning and scheduling scheme.In view of the research problems,based on the review of relevant literature and relevant theories,this paper first describes the production status of D Company,analyzes the causes of problems in the production process,and aims to identify bottlenecks in the production process.Secondly,the objectives and principles of job scheduling optimation are proposed for bottleneck slotting mitigation,and then propose the optimized scheduling scheme.Finally,the expected benefits after optimization are proposed from four aspects: on-time delivery rate,quantity of products in process,product quality and transportation route,and put forward the safeguard measure.The following conclusions are obtained:(1)Bottleneck identification in production process is the premise of job scheduling optimization.In order to improve the overall production efficiency of Company D,identifying bottlenecks in the production process is the key to optimize the scheduling.(2)The application of group technology can improve the production efficiency of neck link,which is the key to the optimization of work scheduling.According to the characteristics of bottleneck link,combine the slotting operations of similar structure,size or process into a batch and put into processing.(3)Bottleneck scheduling optimization based on group technology needs to improve the layout of the workshop where the bottleneck locates.In order to break through the bottleneck and improve the production efficiency,it is feasible to improve the layout of production units in groups.Under the support of the above research conclusions,the completion rate of floor loading plan of D Company increased from 69.92% to 89.21%,the products in process were significantly compressed,the rate of defective products was reduced from 0.95%to 0.4%,and the workshop logistics intensity was reduced by about 50%,which greatly improved the level of production management of D Company.
