Driven by technologies such as the Internet of Things,cloud computing,and big data,the field of engineering construction is shifting towards digitization,informatization,and intelligence.BIM technology,as a dynamic correlation system that can integrate digital graphics and related information of engineering,can realize information integration,transmission and sharing throughout the life cycle of engineering.Its engineering application has become a research hotspot in the field of engineering construction in recent years.Since the release of the "14th Five Year Plan" for smart water conservancy construction,building a smart water conservancy system has become an important goal for the informationization development of the water conservancy industry.Establishing a virtual simulation platform for water conservancy engineering using BIM combined with digital twin technology,achieving efficient management of various stages of water conservancy engineering,can serve as a digital solution for water conservancy engineering construction and smart water conservancy system construction.Due to the characteristics of large-scale engineering,complex geological conditions,and complex construction techniques,water conservancy projects face many difficulties in the planning,design,construction,operation,and maintenance processes.In order to better address these difficulties,it is necessary to build a BIM application system that better meets the requirements of water conservancy engineering construction.Starting from the basic ideas and core characteristics of BIM technology,this article proposes the HBIM digital twin system for water conservancy and hydropower engineering,and conducts research on the application of digital twin technology in water conservancy engineering with a certain roller compacted concrete gravity dam project as the research object.The main research content of this article is as follows:(1)For the construction of water conservancy and hydropower projects,establish an HBIM digital twin system based on BIM technology,which integrates the geological structure,building structure,dam construction process,progress,and safety quality management of complex water conservancy projects,achieving digitalization,visualization,and integrated management of the entire lifecycle of water conservancy projects.(2)HBIM information model construction and virtual simulation system development are carried out for a roller compacted concrete gravity dam project to realize the integrated display and visual simulation of tectonics,dam structure,structural relationship,key technologies and relevant engineering information of hydraulic engineering.(3)Research the application of digital twin technology in the construction of a certain roller compacted concrete gravity dam project using HBIM,and explore the engineering difficulties and BIM application mode in the design and construction stages of water conservancy engineering.Study the digital representation of complex geological problems and visual simulation of complex construction processes to guide engineering construction.
