Study On The Value Evaluation And Inheritance Path Of Red Cultural Heritage In The Pearl River Delta

With the renewal and iteration of urban construction in China,there are stylistic and technical differences between the red cultural heritage left over during the revolutionary period and the numerous modern buildings,which lead to problems of disharmony and incompatibility.Moreover,the red cultural heritage sites have undergone natural weathering,corrosion,historical changes,and human destruction,and most of them are dilapidated to varying degrees,which urgently require repair,maintenance,and governance.As the birthplace of Lingnan culture,the Pearl River Delta region is an important communication zone for economic exchanges and cultural dissemination between the sea and inland areas,as well as a necessary place for the Maritime Silk Road.After the establishment of the CPC,it led the people of Lingnan to fight against the invaders again and again with hard work and perseverance.With the passage of history,the pace of modern construction has gradually accelerated,and the significant value of the red cultural heritage in the Pearl River Delta has been ignored.Problems such as the isolation of heritage sites,lack of clear activation themes,lack of public participation,and maintenance funding have been exposed.New theories and methods are needed to promote and utilize the activation of the red cultural heritage.In the Pearl River Delta region,Dongguan is strategically located and rich in red resources,making it an important base area behind the enemy lines.Among the cities in the Pearl River Delta,the research on the evaluation and inheritance path of Dongguan’s red culture value is rarely touched upon by scholars,and is currently urgently needed to be resolved.It is the most representative among the cities in the Pearl River Delta,so it is selected as a typical representative.The author first defined the scope of the Pearl River Delta,analyzed relevant concepts such as red cultural heritage,environmental planning research,and used research reviews to sort out cultural heritage at home and abroad.Referring to the industrial heritage research system,the author conducted field research,conducted heritage site surveys,and database construction.By analyzing the reasons for the formation of Dongguan Red Cultural Heritage Sites,identifying their value,and selecting four representative categories of heritage sites from specific sites for hierarchical classification and evaluation.Based on the spatial perspective,this article uses GIS spatial analysis method combined with the theory of red cultural heritage to study the aggregation and distribution of heritage,uses a geographic information system to locate the coordinates(x,y)of heritage points using the World Geodetic System-1984 projection coordinate system and the national administrative division vector shp data,and outputs a geographic information map using the spatial visualization of POI hotspots,Kernel Density Estimation computes the event area and obtains a schematic diagram of the high-density and low-density areas of the red cultural heritage site data in Dongguan based on the probability density function.Finally,in view of the problems existing in the red cultural heritage sites in Dongguan City,constructive activation routes,protection concepts,and protection methods are proposed.It is hoped that a set of evaluation systems suitable for the red cultural heritage will be established,inheritance research will be conducted,and a set of path upgrading models suitable for the inheritance of red heritage will be explored for promotion,contributing to the protection and development of Lingnan red culture.
