In response to global warming,environmental deterioration,the contradiction between the pollution and limited of traditional energy and economic sustainable development,and the development of low-carbon allows countries to put the new energy industry in strategic positions,then basing on the relevant research of competitive theory and evaluation system,the selection of competitiveness evaluation indicators and methods for new energy vehicle companies,this paper analyzes the development status of the global new energy vehicle industry and the basic situation and competitive landscape of NIO.Choosing NIO as the research object and using a combination of qualitative and quantitative research methods study its international competitiveness,which enriches academic research methods and content on NIO;The strategy proposed can provide reference opinions for its the plan for formulating international competitiveness;at the same time,the countermeasures can also provide a reference for the development of other "new forces" in the field of new energy vehicles in China.The SWOT analysis method and the value chain model of Porter enterprise are used to analyze the internal and external environment of NIO and the influencing elements of its international competitiveness;Analyzed the driving role of policies,innovation,and user ecological mechanisms on NIO’s international competitiveness.A NIO’s international competitiveness evaluation index system has been established,including 17 indicators,including cumulative number of released models,comprehensive range,brand value,global market share,and net financing amoun;Build an Analytic Hierarchy Process model using Yaahp software and use expert scoring to determine the weights of each indicator.Using the average annual data of various indicators from 2018 to 2021,the comprehensive scores of NIO,BYD,and Tesla were compared and calculated.The international competitiveness of NIO Automobile was analyzed and evaluated through empirical results.The research results indicate that NIO’s user service philosophy gives its brand a high level of consumer loyalty and brand reputation;Empirical comparison shows that NIO Automobile has weak international competitiveness in terms of enterprise size and operational efficiency,mainly due to its relatively small input-output scale and the lack of profitability.But its high endurance product performance and product awareness make its competitiveness in product capabilities more prominent.Finally,targeted policy recommendations are proposed based on the existing problems in NIO’s international competition,such as expanding enterprise scale,strengthening technological innovation and profitability,and enhancing the internationalization process.
