Based on the principle of micro droplet spraying technology,this paper designs a3D printing system for printing thermal battery electrode ink.The system has perfect functions,accurate control,high spraying efficiency,and aims to print electrode films with uniform thickness,accurate size,and superior performance.Firstly,before selecting the appropriate piezoelectric stack,the relevant driving and performance parameters were studied theoretically.Based on the analysis of volume-based microdroplet injection technology,the mathematical model of micronozzle operation was established,and the fluid-structure coupling during the process of microdroplet injection and the phase of microdroplet formation were simulated on Comsol.Then,the spray cavity and the metal diaphragm of the micronozzle were simulated to determine the optimal structure size,and the relationship between the structure parameters and the performance was summarized.The micro-displacement amplification mechanism in the micronozzle is analyzed in principle,structural design,strength check,dynamic modeling,static and dynamic model,mechanical strength simulation analysis and verified by experiments.Next,the work flow and functional requirements of the thermal battery electrode ink printing system are analyzed,and the scheme design and functions of the pretreatment system,piezoelectric micro nozzle,motion control system,piezoelectric drive system,sealing system and liquid conveying system are discussed in detail.Finally,carry out preliminary experiments on piezoelectric micro nozzles,design experiments on different printing process parameters,summarize and analyze the printing experimental results,carry out printing experiments with electrode ink analog Fe2O3 ink,study and analyze the printing process and results,carry out electrode ink real material printing experiments,and study and analyze the electrochemical performance of the printing electrode film.The results show that the printing system is feasible for the application of thermal battery electrode ink printing.
