The core component of the claw vacuum pump is the claw rotor.The superior performance of the rotor is closely related to the profile design of the rotor.The traditional single claw rotor and single claw rotor have pointed points,which will lead to the point and line meshing between the rotor and the rotor,and will cause excessive leakage and other problems under the influence of external load.Based on the forming principle of the traditional claw rotor and the generating principle of the profile of the arc-cycloid Roots rotor,this paper proposes a profile of the rotor without pointy point,which makes the meshing mode between the rotors of the same level be line to line.The performance of the rotor is evaluated by theoretical calculation and simulation analysis.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the principle of curve meshing,a new rotor profile forming method and the parametric equation of each segment profile are obtained by using several existing rotor forming methods.(2)By using the control variable method,combined with the theoretical calculation and the measurement method of software tools,the performance parameters of the rotor under different independent variable parameters are obtained,which provides a reference for the rotor design and selection of parameters,and compared with the traditional claw rotor,the advantages of the new rotor are obtained.(3)According to the special shape of the claw rotor,the original modeling of the rotor center of mass is not in its center of rotation,aiming at this phenomenon to get a way to make the center of mass balance,through the combination of professional software and theoretical calculation,get the weight calculation method,to achieve the centroid balance in the modeling process.(4)This paper analyzes the working conditions of the rotor and uses finite element tools to simulate and calculate the influences of the natural frequency,stress and deformation of the rotor,and then compares it with the traditional rotor to get the advantages of the new rotor in stress and deformation.(5)The noise and vibration of the whole pump were measured by using the existing test tools and peripheral pump body,and only the rotor was replaced.The changes in vibration and noise were compared and analyzed with the original claw vacuum pump.
