Research On The Application Of Local Plant Design In Nanjing Under The Background Of Rural Revitalization

The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has mapped out a grand blueprint for comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization,focusing on the solid promotion of livable,livable and beautiful rural construction,and giving priority to the development of agricultural countryside in accordance with the overall requirements of "prosperous industry,livable ecology,civilized countryside,effective governance,and prosperous life".The countryside embodies the traditional ecological and cultural values of China,and is a community of landscape,ecology and culture.The advantage of the countryside lies in its rich plant resources,and local plants are the "main force" in the rural plant community.Since the reform and opening up,with the rapid development of social economy and landscape architecture,people have more opportunities to come into contact with higher ornamental plant species introduced from abroad.Local plants with lower ornamental value have gradually been ignored and forgotten by people.In recent years,this problem has been exposed in the construction of rural landscapes,where a large number of imported plants have been planted,simply pursuing visual effects and neglecting the application of local plants,resulting in similar rural landscape styles,lack of rural regional landscape characteristics,and heavy traces of landscaping,such as "one village,one side".Cities need their own style,and rural areas also need their own characteristics.Rural landscape construction needs to be combined with regional cultural style,and local plants are an important element to express the connotation of regional culture.They can effectively solve the problems of "heavy landscaping traces" and "one village,one side" in rural areas,and use local plants to create "one village,one scenery" regional landscapes.The construction and development of rural areas should first rely on the natural environment and ecological advantages of the countryside itself,build a beautiful rural ecological environment,and at the same time,explore the advantages of rural industries and promote the unique culture of the countryside.Native plants play an irreplaceable role in rural landscape construction,rural industrial development,and rural cultural inheritance.Native plants are flowers,plants,and trees that are native to or have a long history of growth in the local area.After being tested by the harsh natural environment,they have fully adapted to the local ecological environment;Native plants are native and have been planted and combined with the original ecology,forming a regional plant landscape characteristic that highlights the local style and wild charm;After living together with local people for a long time,people place their thoughts,emotions,and life pursuits on certain specific plants,forming the so-called "plant culture".This article conducts design research based on the integration of local plant landscape,industry,and culture,promoting and developing each other at three levels.Through in-depth study of the role and value of local plants in the countryside,the author summarized and condensed them into industrial value,landscape ecology value and cultural value,and proposed specific design strategies and methods respectively,corresponding to the industrial revitalization,ecological revitalization and cultural revitalization proposed by the rural revitalization strategy.(1)Landscape level;Using the unique landscape characteristics of native plants,based on the rural space carrier,the plant configuration mode and plant species application of native plants in different rural spaces are proposed,and then specific design strategies are proposed to create an ecological and beautiful rural natural landscape,serving the villagers.(2)Industrial level;The competitiveness of local plants lies in their added value.They do not have significant competitiveness in the primary and secondary industries,but their unique advantages are reflected in the process of the tertiary industry.For example,local plant nature education,local plant leisure and health,and local plant understory economy,plant types and activity items are proposed for different experiential activities.Fully leverage the advantages of local plants in experiential activities,serving tourists,and thereby enhancing the effective growth of rural economy.(3)Cultural level;Local plants possess local cultural characteristics,and every local flower,plant,and tree carries a sense of local sentiment,which is also the difference between local flowers and plants and urban garden plants.Fully excavate the local plant culture,so that plant culture does not just exist through oral transmission among villagers,but rather through design,culture is presented in an intuitive image in front of people,and thus more effectively inherited and developed.Inheriting and developing local plant culture can effectively promote the dissemination of rural culture,evoke people’s nostalgia,and to some extent,promote the growth of rural economy.The main focus of this paper is to explore the relationship between local plants and rural revitalization.In this paper,local plants are not just a single element in rural landscape construction,but a comprehensive element that integrates rural landscape,rural industry,and rural culture.Plant landscape is not just a natural landscape,but is combined with industry and culture.Exploring and applying the value of local plants from a higher dimensional perspective,promoting the integration and development of the primary,secondary,and tertiary industries of local plants,and presenting the easily forgotten rural resources of local plants with a new posture in front of the world,re witnessing the rise of rural areas.
