Vortex flowmeter plays an important role in flow measurement due to its high accuracy and low pressure loss.Due to the need to work in harsh industrial environments such as petrochemical and metallurgical industries,vortex flow meters require long-term stable operation and require high power consumption indicators.In harsh working conditions such as low frequency bands,multiple pipe diameters,and strong interference,the accuracy requirements for signal extraction,collection,and measurement are high.This article is based on the needs of enterprises,considering reducing power consumption,improving system intelligence,and expanding application coverage.It studies and designs a low-power intelligent vortex flowmeter prototype that meets the standards,measures accurately,has high accuracy,a wide range,and strong environmental adaptability.The hardware is mainly controlled by the MSP430 series microcontroller with a built-in low-power hard core fast Fourier transform(FFT)multiplier,which performs automatic gain control and adaptive bandpass filtering adjustment on the weak signal output by the piezoelectric vortex sensor,thereby obtaining a stable analog signal with good signal-to-noise ratio;Digitally collect,calculate,and measure analog signals to obtain stable pulse signals related to actual flow rates.In order to overcome electromagnetic signal interference and mechanical vibration effects,expand instrument application scenarios,enhance adaptability in complex environments,and improve the comprehensive measurement accuracy of the system,FFT algorithm is used as a supplement in software algorithms to quickly scan signal strength and frequency characteristics in the frequency domain,and adaptively dynamically adjust circuit parameters.In the case of multiple apertures,wide ranges,and different signal characteristics,the accuracy of measurement can be significantly enhanced.And we explored the use of two-dimensional Kalman filtering algorithm to suppress the transient strong impact of vortex flowmeter actual data,and the results were effective.Develop a prototype vortex flowmeter and complete its measurement verification.This design has the characteristics of low power consumption and intelligence,meeting the design indicators and enterprise needs,and achieving precise measurement.The onsite test results show that the vortex flow meter prototype operates stably,with relative indication error and repeatability error meeting the requirements of the first level meter index in the national standard "JJG1029-2007 Vortex Flow Meter Verification Regulations".It has wide applicability in vortex flow measurement of multi caliber water and gas media in industrial environments.
