Abstract/Summary:
In recent years,China’s medical device industry has experienced significant development.In the field of tumor equipment,radiotherapy equipment,due to its effectiveness,approximately 70% of tumor patients receive radiotherapy services during the treatment process.As the most widely used radiotherapy equipment,the medical linear accelerator market has always been a hot spot for competition among major radiotherapy brands worldwide.As of December 31,2022,data shows that the number of medical linear accelerator equipment in China exceeds 3000,with a radiation therapy equipment inventory of 2.04 per million people,barely meeting the World Health Organization’s recommended 2-4 units per million people standard.However,compared to Japan’s 7 units,European countries’ 7-8 units,and the United States’ over 12 units.China’s medical linear accelerators have a large stock and incremental space,and the market potential for radiotherapy equipment is enormous.The domestic medical linear accelerator market will continue to grow in the coming years.This article is based on the author’s own work experience,combined with relevant theories of marketing strategies,and selects the medical linear accelerator products developed and produced by D company as the research object.PEST and Five Forces analysis models are used to determine the marketing environment faced by D company’s medical linear accelerator products in the marketing process;Using analysis tools such as SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix analysis to identify suitable marketing strategies for Company D;Identify the marketing problems of Company D through designing character interviews and questionnaire surveys;Finally,based on the STP and 4P’s marketing theories,the market positioning is reorganized,and the dimensions of product,price,channel strategy optimization,and service marketing system construction are optimized to obtain the optimized marketing strategy.Key measures to ensure the effective implementation of the marketing strategy are proposed.Through the research in this article,it provides a certain reference for D Company’s medical linear accelerator products to achieve a larger market share,and helps enterprises launch better products and services.It also provides reference for other similar companies when formulating marketing strategies.
