| With the continuous and in-depth promotion of the national "Belt and Road" initiative,in order to achieve high-quality development goals,enterprises have actively integrated into the domestic and overseas dual cycle development pattern,and actively expanded overseas investment business has become a realistic choice.Compared to domestic investment,overseas investment is not only influenced by the general domestic environment,but also by various complex factors such as the international political and economic situation,the host country’s macro fiscal,tax,and foreign exchange policies,market economic environment,and bilateral diplomatic relations with China.Looking back on the problems exposed by Chinese enterprises in the field of overseas investment in recent years,it is urgent to establish and improve a corresponding internal control system,and to improve the internal control management of enterprises’ overseas investment business.This article takes the internal control of C enterprise’s overseas investment as a case study and is mainly divided into four parts: The first part mainly introduces the background and significance of the topic,the current research status at home and abroad,as well as the research ideas and methods;The second part mainly elaborates on the concept and theoretical basis of internal control,overseas investment,and internal control of overseas investment;The third part mainly analyzes and evaluates the current situation of internal control over C enterprise’s overseas investment,and analyzes the reasons for the existing problems;The fourth part mainly proposes five suggestions based on the aforementioned analysis,to help C enterprise improve its internal control system for overseas investment and enhance the level of internal control management for overseas investment.We can obtain the following conclusions based on the above research.The internal control of C company is still under construction and existing lack of experience in overseas investment internal control management.For example,the design of some internal control systems is not yet perfect,and the main control processes such as pre investment decision-making approval,procurement,funds,contracts,and financial report management are not fully implemented.The efficiency of internal information communication within the company is low,and internal supervision is weak.Therefore,C enterprise needs to improve the construction of its internal control system for overseas investment from five aspects:optimizing internal control environment governance,improving risk management system,strengthening the execution of main control activities,accelerating the construction of digital control platforms,and building a normalized supervision mechanism,in order to better adapt to the new development needs of overseas investment business and ensure the achievement of the company’s overseas investment goals.At the same time,it provides certain reference for China’s "going global" enterprises in their internal control practice of overseas investment. |
