| In recent years,with the rapid increase of the number of automobiles in our country,the traffic safety problem is becoming more and more serious.The vehicle assistance system used to improve the driving safety has become a research focus.The AR-HUD,an augmented reality head-up display system,unites augmented reality technology with traditional head-up display system to project important driving information,such as speed,navigation and directly in front of the windshield facing the driver,which is more intuitive and effective,significantly decreasing the likelihood of traffic accidents due to the driver’s distraction or lack of sight.This paper focuses on the research of augmented reality vehicle head up display system,mainly doing the following aspects of work:Firstly,this paper introduces the theoretical basis of the head-up display system.The composition and working principle of head-up display system are described from two parts: image source system and optical system.The performance parameters of the head-up display system are analyzed and explained according to the characteristics of human eyes and the actual use requirements.Secondly,A projection objective lens based on Digital Light Processing(DLP)technology is designed.The design results achieve a higher resolution,a better image restoration ability,and all parameters achieve the design objectives;The thermal analysis results show that the objective lens has stable performance and good imaging quality in the temperature range of-20℃~60℃.Thirdly,an augmented reality head up display system(AR-HUD)is designed.The imaging of human eyes located in the eye box is simulated and analyzed.The results show that the imaging quality is good,which indicates that the design of the system is reasonable and achieves the design goal.Fourthly,the tolerance analysis of projection objective lens and augmented reality head up display system is carried out.Combined with the manufacturer’s actual processing capacity and assembly requirements,the Monte Carlo method is used to simulate the calculation and analysis of the two tolerances.The results show that the tolerances are reasonable,easy to process and assemble,and the design is feasible. |
