A Study On The Garden Elements In The Songs Of Chu

The proposal from "strengthening cultural confidence,promoting the prosperity and prosperity of socialist culture" to "promoting cultural confidence and self-improvement,casting new brilliance in socialist culture" fully proves the continuous promotion and deepening of cultural construction.The "The Songs of Chu" is the first collection of romantic poetry in the history of Chinese literature.It is of great practical significance and practical value to excavate and analyze the garden elements in the "The Songs of Chu".This study used literature research methods to search for a large number of literature and books related to the "The Songs of Chu" and garden elements;Conduct a comprehensive search of relevant historical literature using empirical research analysis,summarize and timely record research results for further exploration;Use statistical induction method to analyze all garden elements and related scenes of garden artistic conception in various poems of "The Songs of Chu";Based on landscape architecture,the interdisciplinary research method is used to comprehensively study literature,history,geography,architecture and other disciplines;Use field research method to conduct investigation and research on relevant Chu cultural attractions.By studying the content of poetry in "The Songs of Chu",the occurrence of four garden elements,namely terrain,plants,buildings,and water bodies,as well as the content of creating the overall garden artistic conception,the methods of creating the garden artistic conception and the regionalization of garden elements in "The Songs of Chu" are extracted,and applied to the reconstruction of garden scenes in "The Songs of Chu".Exploring the significance of the activation of garden elements in the "The Songs of Chu" for the urban development of Jingzhou,selecting some landscape nodes of Jingxiang River Wetland Park in Jingzhou City for the design of the activation of garden elements in the "The Songs of Chu".The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The entire book of "The Songs of Chu" presents 110 descriptions of terrain,104 types of plants,295 descriptions of water bodies,and 13 descriptions related to architecture.(2)The "The Songs of Chu" consists of 11 chapters and 28 parts that depict the artistic conception of gardens.Classifying and studying them according to different landscaping methods,it was found that there are two main categories: plant landscaping and garden element landscaping.Plant landscaping includes three types of landscaping methods: tree,herbaceous,and tree herbaceous.It has the characteristics of creating an artistic conception that mimics people with objects,endows emotions,has clear layers,and has clear seasonal phases;The landscape element composition includes 7landscaping methods,including water and plants,terrain and water,plants and buildings,plants and terrain,water and plants and buildings,terrain and plants and water,terrain and plants and buildings and water.It has the characteristics of creating an artistic conception that is compatible with mountains and rivers,natural ecology,multiple senses,and multi-dimensional artistic conception.(3)Chu has a complex and diverse natural landscape.The scene description in "The Songs of Chu" highlights the terrain and geomorphological characteristics of the Chu state with many hills and mountains in certain areas,the water body characteristics of multiple lakes and water bars,the unique plant characteristics of oranges,peppers,and cymbidium,and the scale and shape of the Chu state palace with layers of beautiful and luxurious wooden frame buildings as the characteristics,highlighting the regional characteristics of garden elements.(4)The focus of plant landscape reconstruction is based on a large number of seasonal landscape descriptions in the "The Songs of Chu",and modern garden commonly used plants such as purple leaf plum and osmanthus are added to the original text to replace lost species and increase the richness of vertical spatial layers and colors of the community,reconstructing the same artistic conception;The reconstruction of landscape elements is carried out in detail based on their respective characteristics,with the focus on enriching the structure,optimizing the space,shaping the overall habitat,painting,and artistic conception,and creating a modern poetic garden with four complete elements."The Songs of Chu" fully reflects the habitat,artistic conception,and artistic conception of ancient Chu gardens.On the basis of in-depth excavation of the composition of garden elements and landscaping techniques,it is applied to the design practice of landscape architecture,reappearing the garden of "Chu style and charm" in the city,bringing Chu culture back into the public view,improving the spiritual connotation of urban culture,enhancing the cultural self-confidence of the city,which is of great significance to the integration of the development of Chu culture in the city.
