| With the rapid development of the civil aviation transport industry in southwest China, the changes in demand for civil aviation transport have led to the development of different scale distribution of civil airports in southwest China, resulting in a complex and dynamic scale distribution pattern, while the development process has also given rise to problems such as over-concentration and over-dispersal,unreasonable allocation of aviation resources, unbalanced transport scale structure, unclear functional positioning and serious homogenization, leading to vicious competition among airports.Based on this, this paper conducts an in-depth study on the spatial and temporal evolution of the size distribution of the civil airport system in southwest China, combining grey correlation and ridge regression to analyze the factors influencing the differences in the size distribution of the civil airport system in southwest China. The following policy recommendations are made to optimise the size distribution of the civil airport system in southwest China:(1)The time evolution of the size distribution of the civil airport system in southwest China is studied.By comparing the number of scale-free zones in the passenger and cargo size distribution from 1995 to 2020,the development of passenger and cargo sizes at civil airports in Southwest China is divided into four stages.By comparing the characteristics of the number of scale-free zones of passenger and cargo scale distribution from 1995 to 2020,the development of passenger and cargo scale at SWCAA is divided into four stages, and the dispersion characteristics and time evolution of passenger and cargo scale distribution are studied longitudinally by combining the kernel density estimation method.(2)The spatial divergence pattern of the size distribution of the civil airport system in southwest China was studied.Based on the POI data of southwest civil airports, the spatial clustering and pattern characteristics of the size distribution of southwest civil airports from 1995 to 2020 are analysed using kernel density and standard deviation ellipse theory. The spatial autocorrelation theory was used to determine the spatial weight matrix of passenger and cargo scale distributions at Southwest civil airports, and global spatial autocorrelation and local autocorrelation analyses were conducted to study the spatial correlation characteristics of passenger and cargo scale at Southwest civil airports.(3)The spatial and temporal evolution of the size distribution of civil airports in southwest China under the epidemic was studied. In view of the new crown epidemic in 2020,2019 and 2020 were selected for comparison, and the spatial and temporal evolution of the scale distribution of civil airports in southwest China was studied using the rank order-scale law, kernel density estimation theory, standard deviation ellipses and spatial autocorrelation, and the reasons for the variability of passenger and cargo scale distribution under the epidemic were analysed.(4)The influencing factors of the variability of the size distribution of civil airports in southwest China were studied. The factors influencing the spatio-temporal variability of passenger and cargo scale distribution of civil airports in southwest China are analysed using grey correlation and ridge regression, and policy recommendations are made for optimising the scale of the civil airport system in southwest China, taking into account the current situation of the scale distribution of civil airports in southwest China. |
