Comprehensive passenger transportation hubs,as a distribution center connecting cities,carry the role of material and information interaction between cities,and play an important role in guaranteeing the promotion of high-quality national economic development and cultural exchange.The National Comprehensive Three-Dimensional Transportation Network Planning Outline puts forward high-quality and refined development requirements for hubs.Guidance signs as an important auxiliary facilities of the hub,bearing the role of passengers to find destinations,the realization of the hub function,its information layout will directly affect the hub passenger flow movement and transfer efficiency.Existing hub signage system still exists information missing,redundant,three-dimensional facilities sign clutter,signs and advertising layout can not be reasonably balanced and other unreasonable situation,the essence of the problem is the information network is disorderly,passengers and information interaction behavior quantitative analysis of difficult design problems,coupled with the lack of scientific evaluation system of passenger wayfinding behavior,so that the hub is difficult to achieve humanistic,refined design.Therefore,to evaluate the hub guiding signage system by the passenger behavior feeling combined with the hub wayfinding efficiency,design the behavior index of information interaction,and build a comprehensive evaluation system of the wayfinding behavior in the hub is an urgent problem to be solved in China’s hub optimization.To address the difficult problems of disorderly hub information network and difficult to quantify passenger behavior,the index design is based on the concept of hub functional area to divide the guiding signage information into layers,and the parameter design is carried out by eye-tracking device and other equipment combined with passenger wayfinding,which makes up for the shortcomings of lack of passenger perspective.The paper compares and summarizes the hierarchical relationship of hub facilities and information under the concept of hierarchy,reveals the interaction mechanism between passenger wayfinding and guidance information by designing wayfinding experiments,and designs and constructs a guidance sign evaluation system under the interaction mechanism,which can realize the evaluation of guidance information in complex architectural structures.The paper consists of the following main parts:(1)Concepts and existing problems related to guidance signs.Sorting out the classification,deployment form,deployment characteristics and application conditions of hub guidance information(hereinafter referred to as guidance information).Summarize the advantages and shortcomings of the existing guiding information from the perspective of passenger use.(2)The construction of hierarchical visibility index and the design of evaluation methods.To clarify the concept of functional area and information hierarchy of hub facilities,and design the visibility index under the information hierarchy network.For the existing research scope set in the hub as a whole,unfocused,it is difficult to analyze the single point information problem,the indicators will be refined into passenger flow,so as to achieve the passenger wayfinding feeling evaluation and single point information evaluation.According to the spanning relationship between information levels and functional areas,single-level visibility index and multi-level visibility index are designed,and eye tracker-wayfinding experiments are used to quantify the visual behavior parameters of passengers and reveal the interaction mechanism between passengers and guidance information under the hierarchical information network levels.The evaluation method is designed for hierarchical visibility index,and the evaluation content of Level of Service(LOS)is optimized by analyzing the information data of several railroad,subway and bus hubs,and the evaluation results are graded according to the scores to provide a basis for the evaluation results of hierarchical visual behavior visibility index.(3)Construction of hub-oriented information index system and evaluation system based on the psychological and behavioral influencing factors of travelers’ wayfinding.Starting from the principle of passenger wayfinding,we analyze the mechanism of information and the nature of the environment of the hub on the psychological and behavioral impact of passenger wayfinding by searching the literature for factors influencing wayfinding in the architectural space,and integrate the results,and sort out the factors influencing wayfinding from three perspectives: hub differentiation,visual access and service environment.Construction of integrated passenger hub guidance information and wayfinding evaluation indexes based on passenger wayfinding factors,drawing on relevant domestic hub design specifications.Based on the above indicators,Grey-DEMATEL combined with ISM is adopted to determine the hierarchical relationship between indicators,and Grey-DEMATEL combined with fuzzy evaluation is used to construct a comprehensive evaluation system of hub-oriented information based on the interaction between travelers and information.(4)Taking Beijing West Railway Station guiding signage system as an example,the hierarchical visibility index proposed by the research was applied to the guiding information evaluation system based on wayfinding behavior,and the flow line division and index scoring were conducted for the railroad hub station hall guiding signage system combining the first basement level,the second basement level and the entrance hall of Beijing West Station.Combining with the experimental data of eye-tracking,the evaluation results of hierarchical visibility index of each sign and each flowline are calculated,and the evaluation results of visibility index of Beijing West Railway Station are obtained through functional aggregation.Meanwhile,based on the evaluation system of hub guiding signs for passenger-information interaction,the evaluation results are given in the form of expert scoring,and the reasonableness of the hierarchical relationship between the indicators and the scientificity of the evaluation results are analyzed by comparing the results.The evaluation results show that the visibility indexes describe Beijing West Station with a rating of(B),and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation result is "better";corresponding to the evaluation results of the visibility index,both of them can better evaluate the design condition of the hub’s guiding signs,and suggest improvements to the low-scoring streamline of Beijing West Railway Station.
