| According to the international definition of an aging society,China has entered a stage of serious aging.The domestic demand for elderly products and its market have continued and expanded rapidly,and more products have been developed,extending and developing from the early function focus to a wide range,deep-seated,multi angle and systematic direction.In addition to modeling,function,man-machine,color and materials,the physical and mental health and emotion of the elderly have also been more considered as important design factors and evaluation criteria.At present,the research and development capacity of domestic products for the elderly is limited,the competitiveness is weak,the category is single,and the innovation is insufficient.In particular,it lacks attention to the emotional aspects of the elderly and ignores their aesthetic needs.This paper studies how the aesthetic needs of the elderly affect,function and intervene in the modeling design of specific elderly products.The study introduced the concept of formative years effect,attached importance to the effects of personal preferences,cognition,values and other factors on the product aesthetics of the elderly,combined with the advantages of the mood board tool,so that the aesthetic needs of the elderly can be characterized and visualized,and transformed into the form of design input information that designers can perceive and understand,Improve the aesthetic quality of elderly assistive products from the process and tool level.The product modeling design mode combining formative years effect and emotional board is a new way to actively explore and obtain and refine personal aesthetic needs.It has certain innovation and practical value for improving the direction of product modeling theory and practice in the elderly in China.Follow the overall research idea of formative years effect plus emotion board.The specific research contents are as follows:Firstly,through literature research,this paper combs the mechanism and characteristics of the formative years effecting the aesthetic appeal of the elderly,and provides a method to calculate the formative years of the elderly at different ages.Through case analysis,combined with the creation process and application mode of emotion board tool,this paper summarizes the categories and characteristics of emotion boards for the elderly in their formative years.Secondly,based on the characteristics that paying attention to the formative years can explore the aesthetic characteristics of the elderly from the origin,and the advantages of intuitive,concise,fast and low-cost information expression in the design of emotional board,it is proposed that carrying out the research in the formative years and completing the output of emotional board in the formative years is the core part of the elderly product modeling design method based on the formative years effect,and the design process of emotional board in the formative years for elderly product modeling design is described,Specifically,it includes five steps: calculating the formative years,collecting the image samples of the emotional board in the formative years,forming the image collage,extracting and coding the element library,and integrating the image collage and the element library,and showing the practice of the design process through cases.Thirdly,In order to improve the efficiency and convenience of the emotional board design process in the actual design,an auxiliary library for the emotional board design of the elderly in China was built to assist designers and researchers to complete the emotional board output of the elderly in the formative years;Taking the shopping cart for the elderly as the design object,according to the research,analysis and design process,this paper completes a series of product modeling design schemes,and explores the feasibility of the method to improve the modeling aesthetic quality of elderly products in China. |
