In the advanced manufacturing industry,the optimal design of large equipment is the key technology of product performance control.Topology optimization is the primary choice in the early stage of structural optimization design.The development of domestic topology optimization software started late compared to mature foreign software with stable algorithms.Therefore,there is an urgent need to develop independent topology optimization industrial software.This thesis focuses on topology optimization and finite element method,develops an independent topology optimization industrial software,which realizes the whole process of structure optimization from pre-processing to optimization calculation to post-processing.The research contents of this dissertation are as follows:In Section 2,the SIMP method and the topology optimization model of the minimum compliance problem under the volume fraction constraint are introduced.The shape function and stiffness matrix of the tetrahedron element,the pentahedron element and the hexahedron element are derived.The sensitivity analysis,filtering method and optimal criterion method in the topology optimization solution are introduced,which lays the foundation for the development of the topology optimization solver.In Section 3,TopStruct,an industrial software for topology optimization,is developed.The architecture design of the software and the development process of each module are introduced.The preprocessor part of the software realizes the functions of CAD file rendering and finite element mesh generation by using the external open source library.The finite element solver and topology optimization solver are developed.The sparse matrix storage and multicore CPU parallel computing method are used to improve the software computing efficiency.The surface extraction algorithm and surface smoothing algorithm are introduced,and the postprocessing and file output functions of the topology optimization optimal model are implemented in the software.In Section 4,three examples are used to evaluate the software performance.Finite element meshes are generated for cantilever beam,bridge,and wheel structure using the TopStruct software,and then subjected to minimum compliance topology optimization with volume fraction constraints.The results are compared with those of the commercial software Opti Struct,which verify the accuracy and computational efficiency of the software.This thesis promotes the independent development capability of Chinese topology optimization software.Finally,the thesis is summarized and prospected.
