At the beginning of the 20 th century,air conditioning appeared which relied on electricity to regulate the temperature of indoor environment accurately,and then immediately applied in architecture.Air conditioning is different from the previous high efficiency facilities of passive or active environmental mediation devices.Because it integrates components such as compressor,condenser,filter and fan,and it can also adjust the temperature,humidity,cleanliness and flow rate of air.However,some conflicts between their spatial layout and form principles have continued to this day,it is the reason that the mechanical properties of air conditioning facilities make itself fit not well with traditional buildings.To solve this problem,this paper puts forward the integration strategy of air conditioning facilities in architecture,which aims to reconcile the contradiction between air conditioning facilities and architectural performance.Firstly,the paper reviews the birth and development of air conditioning facilities as well as the technical experiments and practical exploration related to architecture,which is the factual basis of this paper.Then,considering the composition and classification of air-conditioning facilities,this paper summarizes its alienation and internalization in architecture,and puts forward the design idea of integrating air-conditioning facilities and architectural entities.Then,taking the exposure phenomenon of air conditioning facilities in the building environment as an incision,this paper discriminates the relationship between non load-bearing components and air conditioning facilities,puts forward the integration strategy of non structural mode,and discusses the two application scenarios of external enclosure system and indoor environment,so as to realize the coordination of performance and aesthetics between air conditioning facilities and building entities.Next,the paper discusses the possible relationship between loadbearing structure and air-conditioning facilities.Combined with the parallel relationship between air-conditioning transmission and distribution system and load-bearing structure,as well as the spatialization of air-conditioning facilities and the structural trend of space,the paper puts forward the structural integration strategy.By expounding the integration strategy of horizontal structure and vertical structure to air conditioning facilities,deepen the form and layout logic of building air conditioning facilities.Finally,facing the latest progress of contemporary architecture,the paper discusses the application of radiant panel air conditioning system in architecture,and points out that the air conditioning facilities can be highly integrated with the load-bearing structure itself,so as to improve the logical system of structural integration strategy.Based on the project of Licheng Street Medical Service Center in Jinhu County,this paper makes a tentative application of the proposed integration strategy of air conditioning facilities.On the premise of reasonably selecting the type of air conditioning system,the integration strategy of structural mode is considered first,and then according to the layout characteristics of air conditioning facilities,the non structural strategy is adopted to optimize the form of non load-bearing components,and the possible strategy and effective path of air conditioning facilities integration in buildings are explored with practical cases.
