Product identity is the core of corporate identity,which is bearing the mind and culture of the enterprise and is the system design of product design center.In the fierce market competition environment,corporate identity and corporate brand are becoming more and more important,so it is an important task for enterprises to establish a systematic product identity.The product identity of slipform paver plays a very important role in shaping the corporate identity of slipform paver.This paper takes slipform paver as the research object,combines it with the theory of product identity design,systematically studies the application of slipform paver in product identity design,and carries on the practice and verification to its research results through specific case design analysis.Based on the product identity practice of Siming slipform paver and the analysis and summary of product identity theory,combined with the characteristics of slipform paver industry,this paper proposes the method of identity construction of slipform paver from three aspects including mind identity,visual identity,interface identity.Through the questionnaire survey method and semantic difference method to study the slipform paver product design style,combined with the company culture of Siming,obtained the mind of the unique identity of the enterprise.From three aspects to complete the slipform paver’s product identity construction:through analytic hierarchy process,feature line extraction method,DFA(design form analysis method)to analyze the slipform paver form identity;based on the characteristics of slipform paver,the color characteristics,perception,influencing factors and collocation are analyzed and the construction direction of color and coating identity of slipform paver is obtained.The interface identity of the existing product line is analyzed to get the direction of interface identity design.According to the established product identity elements,this paper combined with the ergonomics and based on Siming company’s SMC-5000 slipform paver designed three different product modeling design scheme and innovative interface design.Compare different shapes and interface design schemes to get the most consistent with Siming’s corporate identity design scheme,then complete the product identity design system into the design practice application process.Finally,the product identity design system of Siming slipform pacer is summarized,which provides reference for the subsequent design activities of enterprises.The research results of this paper provide scientific design theory basis and method for the product identity design of slipform paver,and have important reference value and guiding significance for its further research and practical application.
