In recent years,with the rapid development of network and information technology,the construction scale of data center has been continuously improved,and the energy consumption of data center has also increased sharply.Among them,the energy consumption of air conditioning system accounts for the largest proportion in the total energy consumption of data center.However,the cooling effect of the air conditioning system in some data rooms is still unsatisfactory,and there are often local hot spots that threaten the safe operation of the computer room.Aiming at the problem of local overheating in the data room,most of the existing studies focus on enhancing the convective heat transfer effect between the cold air flow sent by the air conditioning system and it equipment by adjusting the air supply parameters of the air conditioning system in the data room and optimizing the air distribution in the room.Adjusting the air supply parameters of the air conditioning system in the data room can improve the uniformity of indoor cooling capacity distribution.For example,when reducing the air supply temperature or increasing the air supply volume,the temperature in the data room will decrease and the temperature distribution will tend to be uniform,but it will directly lead to the increase of air conditioning energy consumption in the data room.In addition,optimizing the air distribution in the computer room to enhance convective heat transfer is also conducive to solving the local overheating problem in the data room.However,the actual air distribution in the machine room is often affected by many factors,such as the form of air outlet,the position of air outlet,the layout of equipment in the machine room and the size of cold and hot channels,so there will be unreasonable air distribution in varying degrees.Unreasonable air distribution will lead to uneven refrigeration in the machine room.In contrast,because radiation heat transfer is a heat transfer process between two solids with different temperatures and no contact with each other,there is no need for media,and the size of radiation heat transfer is only related to the temperature difference between heat exchange objects,so the uniformity of radiation refrigeration is good.In view of the advantages of radiation refrigeration,this paper proposes a new type of radiation convection coupled heat exchange machine room air conditioning system,which uses radiation convection coupled heat exchange to improve the local overheating in the machine room and increase the air supply temperature of the air conditioning system.Firstly,this paper establishes the physical model and mathematical model of the data room,and verifies the independence of the grid and the reliability of the mathematical model;Then,the refrigeration performance of the traditional data room air-conditioning system and the new data room air-conditioning system is compared;After making it clear that the refrigeration performance of the new data room air conditioning system is better than that of the traditional data room air conditioning system,the effects of the installation angle of the radiation deflector,the temperature of the radiation deflector and the closed cold channel on the refrigeration performance of the new data room air conditioning system are studied;Finally,the installation angle of the radiation deflector is set to 30 °,the temperature of the radiation deflector is set to 21 ℃ and all cold channels are closed.The air supply temperature of the air conditioning system in the new data room under this working condition is optimized.The results show that under the traditional data room air conditioning system,the server rack temperature is generally high,and there are obvious local hot spots;By adjusting the air supply parameters,the refrigeration efficiency of the air conditioning system in the traditional data room can be improved,but the energy consumption of the air conditioning system will be increased;The refrigeration effect of the new data room air conditioning system is obviously better than that of the traditional data room air conditioning system.The system can alleviate the local overheating problem and make the air distribution more reasonable,which is conducive to reducing the energy consumption of the air conditioning system;In the air conditioning system of the new data room,when the installation angle of the radiation deflector is 30 °,it is the angle setting with the best refrigeration effect;The temperature of radiation deflector in the air conditioning system of the new data room should not be higher than 21 ℃;The refrigeration effect of the air-conditioning system in the new data room with all closed cold channels is significantly better than that of partially closed cold channels and non closed cold channels;On the premise of ensuring the cooling effect of the data room,compared with the traditional data room air conditioning system,the new data room air conditioning system can increase the air supply temperature by 2 ℃,which can not only meet the refrigeration demand of the data room,but also achieve the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction.The research of this paper will help to improve the energy efficiency of air conditioning system and reduce the energy consumption of data center,and will provide some reference for the follow-up research of data room energy saving.
