Against the backdrop of increasing electricity consumption and increasingly severe environmental issues in China, wind power generation has developed rapidly. As onshore wind power technologies become more mature, offshore wind power has received more attention. However, under harsh meteorological conditions at sea,the failure rate and operation and maintenance costs of offshore wind turbines are higher than those of onshore wind turbines.A scientific and efficient operation and maintenance strategy can effectively reduce the operation and maintenance costs of offshore wind turbines, which is conducive to promoting affordable access to the internet for offshore wind power. This article focuses on the opportunity maintenance strategy of offshore wind turbines under the influence of weather factors, and the work content is as follows:(1)Starting from the hazard analysis of wind turbine, the hazard degree of each component of offshore wind turbine is calculated and classified according to the hazard analysis theory and the hazard analysis method based on fault vector space. The Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to calculate the weight of hazard indicators.(2)Based on reliability theory, the failure time interval is used as the reliability index, and the two-parameter Weibull distribution is used as the reliability model. The Anderson Darling Goodness of fit test(AD test)is used to test the fitting effect between samples and Weibull distribution.Considering the short operating time and small data volume of offshore wind turbines,a Bayesian parameter estimation method under small sample conditions is used to estimate unknown parameters, and reliability is taken as one of the basis for formulating operation and maintenance strategies. When conducting incomplete maintenance, use a reliability update model with a service age regression factor to evaluate the reliability changes of faulty components before and after maintenance.(3)To address the weather factors that constrain the timeliness of offshore wind turbine operation and maintenance,a macro analysis was conducted based on historical wind speed data.It was found that April October is more conducive to carrying out operation and maintenance operations.According to the offshore wind power operation and maintenance event tree, weather is divided into three categories. And analyzed the impact of weather factors on operation and maintenance activities, and developed a weather conversion method in the operation and maintenance process that considers weather factors.(4)The principle, process, and applicable conditions of the existing opportunity maintenance strategy for offshore wind turbines were analyzed and studied.Added maintenance opportunities brought about by regular inspections,as well as maintenance sequence decision-making criteria that combine cost-effectiveness and costeffectiveness.Combining weather accessibility with opportunity maintenance has formed an offshore wind farm opportunity maintenance strategy that considers weather accessibility. The total cost of operation and maintenance was decomposed into maintenance costs, downtime losses, vessel costs, and personnel costs, and the calculation method was refined. The established opportunity based maintenance strategy for offshore wind farm operation and maintenance was simulated and compared with traditional operation and maintenance strategies. The simulation shows that the maintenance trips and total costs using the operation and maintenance strategy in this article have decreased by 60.98%and 29%respectively compared to the traditional operation and maintenance strategy, preliminarily verifying the advantages and effectiveness of this strategy.
