Compared with traditional mechanical gear transmission,axial coupled permanent magnet planetary gear transmission is a non-contact transmission,which avoids problems such as gear wear,pitting,bonding,and plastic deformation caused by contact gear transmission;No need for regular maintenance,lubricant addition,and cooling;It has the characteristics of no friction,low noise,and low vibration;Low starting torque and overload protection function.It has broad development prospects in fields such as medical devices,automotive manufacturing,and chemical equipment.Based on the current research status of permanent magnet gears both domestically and internationally,this article first analyzes the working principle and transmission ratio of axial coupled permanent magnet planetary gear transmission;Secondly,introduce the spatial structure,magnetic tooth material,coupling method,and magnetization method of magnetic gears,and study the parameter relationship of the transmission system from the aspects of concentricity conditions,transmission ratio conditions,assembly conditions,and adjacency conditions;Finally,establish a three-dimensional model of the permanent magnet planetary gear transmission system.In addition,this article conducts a theoretical analysis of the magnetic field inside and outside the volume of the magnetic tooth coupling.The equivalent surface current method is used to calculate the magnetic field,and the integration method is used to eliminate the influence of conditional boundaries on the calculation error of the magnetic field coupling domain.The calculation formula for the magnetic energy work of the magnetic tooth coupling is given.By analyzing the coupling process of permanent magnet gears,a mathematical model of permanent magnet magnetic teeth is constructed,and the calculation method of transmission torque is obtained.The calculation formulas for the torque between the planetary gear and the sun gear,as well as the output torque of the mechanism,are derived.The research results indicate that the torque of the permanent magnet planetary gear transmission system is greatly influenced by parameters such as the axial thickness,width,height,working air gap between gears,and relative deflection angle of the magnetic teeth.Choosing appropriate parameters can make the transmission system structure more reasonable.This article uses ANSOFT MAXWELL and FEMM electromagnetic field simulation software to simulate and analyze the coupling area of permanent magnet planetary gears.The simulation results are post-processed using software such as ORIGIN and MATLAB to obtain the relationship between various parameters of the magnetic tooth,such as magnetic tooth thickness,tooth height,tooth width,and working air gap,and magnetic field strength,magnetic field force,and transmission torque.This verifies the results of theoretical analysis.Finally,an axial coupled permanent magnet gear transmission experimental platform was established,and the theoretical analysis and simulation methods were verified on a single pair of axial coupled permanent magnet gears.The measured experimental results were compared and analyzed with the simulation results,further demonstrating the correctness of the theoretical analysis and simulation analysis methods in this paper.
