| Since the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, home disinfection has attracted more and more attention, and the market has launched a variety of household disinfection appliances.H owever, the existing disinfection appliances have shortcomings such as single function compl ex disinfection process, and lack of emotional value, resulting in poor user experience. From t he perspective of affordance and product semantics, this paper discusses how to optimize the d esign of household disinfection appliances, aiming to further improve the quality of user exper ience and meet people’s emotional needs when using products. The first part of this paper summarizes the concept and research status of affordance and product semantics, analyzes the feasibility of the correlation and combination between the two,and constructs a design model of household disinfection appliances based on affordance and p roduct semantics. The second part expounds the concept and classification of disinfection appl iances, and investigates household disinfection appliances in the market to analyze their probl ems from the perspective of affordance and product semantics. The third part identifies the tar get users through questionnaire surveys, interviews around the target users to obtain the user n eeds of household disinfection appliances, and uses the analytic hierarchy method to screen th e importance of demand.Based on the screened user needs, the design strategy of household d isinfection electrical products was proposed. The fourth part derives the functional modules an d design components of the product based on the functional requirements of users, and comple tes the design practice of household disinfection appliances according to the design model and design strategy, and finally verifies the feasibility and effectiveness of the study in the form of a questionnaire. |
