| Taxis are a component of the urban public transportation system, which can provide comfortable and flexible personalized transportation services for travelers.Taxis are divided into online reservation taxis and cruise taxis(hereinafter referred to as "online reservation taxis " and "cruise taxis"),which play an important auxiliary transportation role in urban public transportation. The national level has successively introduced online reservation taxis management policies to improve the competitive environment in the taxi market.Under the influence of the external macro environment of the industry, there are differences in the development models of the taxi industry, and the impact of online reservation taxi management policies on the industry has been empirically analyzed using typical cities.Main research contents:Firstly,it sorts out the development model of the urban taxi industry.Collect and sort out the management policies for online reservation taxis and cruise taxis during the development process and historical period.Through comparative analysis of industry main requirements, representative enterprise models, and travel modes and service modes, the similarities and differences in the development of online reservation taxis and cruise taxis are revealed.Secondly, cluster analysis is conducted on the external macro environment of the urban taxi industry.Selecting 35 cities such as Beijing and Shanghai as the research objects,a total of 16 evaluation indicators were selected from the aspects of economy, population, industrial output, municipal administration, transportation, etc. After standardized processing of indicator data, the Bisecting K-Means algorithm was used for clustering, and cities were divided into three categories: developed, relatively developed, and underdeveloped.Thirdly, based on the double difference method, the effectiveness evaluation model of the total amount control and market regulation policies for online reservation taxis is established. The model selects the ratio of cruise taxis passenger flow to public transport passenger flow as the explanatory variable, and whether effective policies are adopted as the explanatory variable. The results indicate that the total amount control policy has a positive impact on developed, more developed, and underdeveloped cities compared to market regulation policies, but the impact on more developed cities first increases and then weakens, and the impact on developed and underdeveloped cities continues to increase, with the strongest positive impact on underdeveloped cities. Finally,an empirical study is conducted on the impact of online reservation taxi policies in cities.Through questionnaires and text analysis, the impact of online reservation taxi policies on industry development was analyzed. The assumption is that the policy of controlling the current total number of online reservation taxis is changed and the entry threshold for online reservation taxi is lowered.Through a questionnaire survey and the OPTICS algorithm, drivers are clustered into four categories based on their group attitudes: strongly supported, strongly unsupported, generally supported, and generally unsupported.Through text statistics and modeling,it was found that users posted positive comments accounting for 43.1%,negative comments accounting for 39.9%,and neutral comments accounting for 17%.Propose countermeasures and suggestions for the formulation of online ride hailing policies. The urban online reservation taxi policy not only has a significant impact on the cruise taxi industry, but also reconstructs the urban traffic structure.Personalized, customized, and differentiated travel services can enrich residents’ travel methods, but the disorderly growth of the total online reservation taxis volume will affect the healthy development of the taxi industry.Exploring the impact of online reservation taxi management policies on the cruise taxi industry can help promote the harmonious development of the taxi market and provide a basis for the formulation and implementation of relevant policies. |
