| In recent years,with the steady and rapid development of China’s economy and the improvement of people’s consumption ability and level,the demand of consumers for small household appliances has gradually changed from the previous low price,low performance and low sense of design to high quality,high intelligence and high environmental protection.However,the arrival of the COVID-19 in 2020 has caused a major impact and change on China’s small household appliance market.Companies that failed to adjust their business direction in time in the market have been quickly eliminated by the market,and the industry competition has become increasingly fierce.How to gain a foothold in the highly competitive small household appliance market and achieve scientific,healthy and sustainable development has troubled many small household appliance enterprises.This paper takes SUPOR company,the leader of small household appliance industry,as the research object,selects the financial statement data of Supor and its main competitors in recent five years,and makes relevant exploration from four aspects based on Harvard Analysis Framework: first,it investigates the internal and external environmental conditions of Supor company by using strategic analysis methods such as pest,five forces model and SWOT;Second,it uses accounting analysis to identify the key accounting subjects of Supor company;Thirdly,through financial analysis,the author compares the relevant financial statement data of Supor company horizontally and vertically,and then predicts the potential risks within the company;Fourth,the prospect analysis is used to evaluate the sustainable development ability of Supor company.Based on the analysis conclusions of the above four aspects,this paper puts forward five suggestions for the future development of Supor company: first,adhere to product innovation,increase the introduction of high-level R & D personnel,enhance the ability of innovative design products,and make small household appliances more intelligent;Second,promote the increase of online sales channels,comply with the new trend of online marketing,strengthen win-win cooperation with online channel providers,and actively explore new sales models;Third,mobilize the subjective initiative of grass-roots managers,provide corresponding management talent selection measures,formulate incentive growth plans suitable for posts,cultivate the gradient growth of talents,and gradually raise the level of grass-roots managers;Fourth,standardize their own investment activities and establish an investment management mechanism to avoid the risk of investment activities leading to the rupture of the capital chain;Fifth,increase the awareness of risk prevention,reasonably control the scale of the company,and make the enterprise develop healthily and scientifically.At the theoretical level,this paper helps to enrich the literature on the application of Harvard analysis framework to the research of small household appliance enterprises,especially to supplement the relevant discussion under the special background of COVID-19;At the practical level,this paper helps SUPOR’s management and investors to timely and effectively grasp the company’s financial situation,carefully weigh the relationship between income and risk,and help it take targeted improvement measures to promote its long-term sustainable development.At the same time,it can also provide useful enlightenment for industry related enterprises and provide reference for their healthy development. |
