The Landscape Design Of Shaobo Navigation Lock Heritage From The Perspective Of Cultural Space

As of 2022,China has 56 world heritage sites,ranking second and becoming a large world heritage country,and more and more areas of concern for heritage utilization and environment.As one of the important carriers of cultural inheritance and environmental enhancement,heritage parks have the functions of protection and display,ecological restoration,cultural education,tourism and leisure,etc.Heritage development for the sake of urban public cultural space has also become the focus and hot spot of research in art and design disciplines.Water conservancy projects have the function of regulating and utilizing water resources,and some abandoned water conservancy engineering facilities have become water conservancy heritage,and these sites and cultural spaces of remains carry scientific and technological,historical and cultural and humanistic artistic values.In recent years,the research on water conservancy engineering heritage parks has expanded from a single engineering application category to a multidisciplinary and multi-faceted one.As one of the water conservancy projects of the Yangzhou section of the World HeritageChina Grand Canal,Shaobo Locks was built earlier and is still in use today,how to better display and utilize it has become an urgent problem.This paper takes Shaobo Locks as the research object,firstly,it composes the concept of cultural space and water conservancy project site park,explains the value characteristics of water conservancy project site as cultural space,and analyzes the case of water conservancy project site park at home and abroad,and clarifies the content and method of display and utilization;secondly,it reviews the literature of Shaobo Locks,and explains that it embodies the continuity in time in historical evolution,and the spatial continuity in functional change.Secondly,the literature review of Shaobo locks illustrates that the historical evolution of Shaobo locks embodies the continuity in time,the spatial science in the functional changes,and has the characteristics of cultural space;again,the cultural heritage value of Shaobo locks from the historical,scientific and artistic aspects are elaborated,and the current problems of unbalanced display of historical value,insufficient display of scientific value,and single approach of displaying artistic value are analyzed;finally,the cultural space is integrated into the landscape design of Shaobo locks heritage park,and the design concept and approach of restoration,reproduction and enhancement are adopted.Finally,the cultural space is integrated into the landscape design of Shaobo Locks Heritage Park,and the design concept and method are based on restoration,reproduction and enhancement,respectively,the historical time sequence,scientific spatial factors and artistic elements are enhanced to form a landscape park with Shaobo characteristics of water conservancy engineering sites,which provides a reference for related heritage protection and utilization display.
