With the continuous progress of science and technology,the rich resources of the polar regions have attracted wide attention from various countries,and the strategic status of the polar regions will have an important impact on the development of our country.Accordingly,the ice load in the design process of polar ships,as an important load,plays an extremely important role in the design index.There are some defects,that is,there is no randomness in the ice thickness,ice material parameters and ice load extreme value.Based on the above problems,the prediction of the ship ice collision load through the simulation method of SPH-FEM coupling is proposed.The main work of this article includes the following points:After the introduction of the theory of the SPH method,the SPH method is introduced into the ship ice collision problem to describe the ship ice collision problem using the ship-ice-water coupling model.The criterion of bending destruction and extrusion destruction of sea ice,and establishes the possible model of sea ice damage in the ship ice-breaking process is described.Ship ice water model was established through the above theory.The ice breaking resistance simulation of ship ice collision problem using SPH-FEM coupling method,and the calculation results are compared with the ice pool model test to illustrate the reliability of the current numerical model from the point of experiment.Under the uncertainty of sea ice thickness,SPH-FEM coupling,based on the continuous ice-breaking load empirical formula,evaluate the ship-ice-water coupling numerical simulation results of accuracy,probability distribution characteristics and simulation results,and finally summarize a reliable ship-floating ice collision load prediction method based on SPH-FEM coupling.The design ice load of domestic and foreign polar ships and comparing the difference between the specification and the simulation are analyzed.The distribution of extreme value probability under different sea conditions is summarized and a continuous ice breaking load is obtained.
