Research On The Impact Of Standard Supply On China’s Manufacturing Export Competitiveness

In recent years,the number of standards supplied in China has been increasing and the supply structure has been optimised,but in many technical fields there is a lack of effective supply of standards in China.How to effectively measure the current situation of standards supply and adjust the effective supply of standards to match the corresponding demand is an important basis for the implementation of standardisation strategies.In recent years,more and more scholars have focused on the role of standard supply in promoting export competitiveness,but most of the studies are based on the stock and increment of standard supply,which can reflect the absolute quantity and growth of standard supply in different industries in China,but lack a certain degree of precision in studying the problem of standard supply.As an important aspect of China’s export-oriented economic development,the improvement of the export competitiveness of manufacturing exports is the key to building a new development pattern of "double cycle" in China.Based on this background,this paper focuses on the level of manufacturing exports and uses the "relative supply index of standards" as an indicator to measure the adequacy of China’s standards supply more effectively.The paper finds that the supply of standards has a significant impact on the export competitiveness of China’s manufacturing industries.This paper finds that the supply of standards plays a positive role in promoting China’s export competitiveness,but there is a time lag effect;the supply of technology-intensive and capital-intensive industry standards has a significant role in promoting China’s export competitiveness,but labour-intensive industries are not significant.Finally,this paper proposes that we should accelerate the transition from standard supply to standard application,reasonably formulate different industry standard supply strategies,increase the effective supply of China’s standards through multiple subjects and channels,and invest targeted factor resources to enhance the export competitiveness of different industries,so as to improve the effective supply of China’s standards and export competitiveness.
