Artifacts are irreplicable treasures of human culture,and transportation monitoring is critical for safeguarding valuable artifacts against damage during culture exchanges.However,current collision-monitoring technologies have limitations in regard to real-time monitoring,cushioning protection,and power supply requirements.These limitations make them difficult to adapt to the demands of the Internet of Things(Io Ts)era.In this paper,we propose a smart artifact monitoring system(SAMS)based on a porous carbon black(CB)/Ecoflex triboelectric nanogenerator(PCE-TENG).The system can monitor collisions in real time and provide additional cushioning protection for artifacts inside transport cases.The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The porous CB/Ecoflex was fabricated by the sacrificial monohydrate citric acid(CAM)template method,the surface morphologies and mechanical properties were characterized.The porous CB/Ecoflex can be further assembled with the serpentine structure flexible printed circuit board(FPCB)to form a selfpowered pressure sensing unit PCE-TENG.(2)The electrical output of the PCE-TENG has been improved by optimizing the content of CB powder,the mixing mass ratio of CAM to Ecoflex.It has a pressure sensitivity of 1.96 V/k Pa(<15 k Pa),a response time of 135 ms and excellent voltage stability under 20000 cycle tests.(3)Six PCE-TENGs,an integrated circuit board with multi-channel signal acquisition,processing and WIFI transmission,and a monitoring terminal constructed the SAMS,which is capable of providing real-time wireless collision-monitoring in different directions,cushioning protection,and safe status confirmation for artifacts.Over all,PCE-TENG achieves both cushioning shock absorption and pressure sensing in the same device.Based on the PCE-TENG,we have developed a SAMS to enhance the protection of artifacts in the smart transportation monitoring systems,which provides a novel and practical strategy for artifact transportation monitoring and package engineering.
